Meet the world's most pierced woman.
Brazilian Elaine Davidson is now at 6,005 body piercings.
You might be tempted to think her addicted to pain, but Davidson, a nurse who lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, says she actually doesn't like piercing, but suffers through for the sake of competition.
"I don't enjoy getting pierced, but to break the record you have to get to a high level. I wanted to break the record," she told the British Telegraph.
Davidson took the Guiness World Record in 2000 at just 462 piercings, of which 192 were facial punctures and then just kept on poking her skin full or ornamental holes. And in the spirit of oversharing - Davidson revealed more than 1,500 of those piercings are "internal." Ouch
