It will be like in the prohibition time in the USA... the more they forbade it, the more the ppl drunk alcohol...as well, as the more they forbid/block porn... the more will be send on other ways... or even worse... the repressed sexuality will find the direct way to be satisfied! What should be wrong with watching porn?
It is the safest way to have sex...no sexual diseases...
& the ppl can learn a lot from it...

I read somewhere that porn on paper, pornmags, is forbidden already in iceland. The internet is/was a way to get around that law.
Something to do with exploiting women.

Well, to be honest Vicky's site, the cam show's and a few other things is the reason my wife moved out! But she knew how I felt about her weight for a long time and she still did nothing. So let me say this. The body of a well built woman is a thing of beauty.

Now this next comment may get me in trouble but hear go's. Does any lady's hear ever look at fat boy and think "He's sexy". I bet the answer is. NO! But whenever I posted that comment on FB I had all kinds of female's jumping on me for "not looking at the inter person". OK I can't see past the FAT. Nothing sexy about it. I don't think anyone twist a woman's arm or makes her have a web site or do cam show's.

There's more I want to say but don't know how to put it all into words that wouldn't make me sound like a country hick that don't know what he's talking about. Not only that but I can't spell for crap.

I guess what I'm trying to say is "I think this idea is about as dumb as a box of racks"

Well, Dave, we all have our likes and dislikes. Some of those dislikes are acceptable to others, some are not. I know that I am not comfortable with all issues with others, but I do my best to be accepting of those issues. There is no doubt in my mind that there are things that others do not like about me. But they suppress those things and (for some odd reason,) like me anyway. The way I look it is that we are all people. And who we are is nothing more than an accident of birth. Some women are strikingly beautiful, others are much less so. Same with us guys. But, does that make those of us who are not so gorgeous lesser people? Of course not. Each of us is born with what we've got. That doesn't take away from the fact that we are people with likes, dislikes, love, hate, all the emotions that anyone else has.

We all also change over time. But we generally stay the same as people. I don't know how to ask you to get around your wife's weight issue. But, inside, isn't she the same woman you married? The same woman you loved and had children with? You don't like her weight and she doesn't like you looking at porn. Maybe you look at porn because your wife is no longer attractive to you. I don't know. I'm no psychologist. My ex-gf didn't like it either. The way I look at it is if she had looked at her own fears and joined me in the VNA, we could have had a very good time, shared something we enjoyed, and made a good thing if it.

As far as your wife is concerned, have you ever talked about her about joining her in a weight control program? Right now, she may need a friend. She may need the friend she married. If you still love her, maybe you could try to look at it as another health problem. You would still love her and stand by her if she had some difficult disease. Well, this is just the same thing. Call her and ask her to come over to talk. Tell her that you still love her. Tell her her weight bothers you and is not healthy. Ask her if she considered seeing her Dr. about it, and offer to go with her. Offer to stand by her as she strives to handle the issue. You would do so if she had a physical disease. You would stand by her if she had been injured in a wreck, or if she had contracted a disease and was in the hospital. Look at this is exactly the same thing. She has an issue that she needs help with.

She needs you to stand by her. Try to refocus your thoughts toward being a help to her. It might not work. but, if she will consult her doctor about starting a weight control/loss program, if you would be supportive, you two could work toward a common goal. It wouldn't be easy. But, look at yourself. You are taking steps to stop smoking. Now help her take steps to start losing. The first step is communication. Talk to her, and get her to talk to you. Reassure her that you still love her and are still her friend. Tell her, "we are in this together." It might be hard, but if you will look at the issue together, you might both come out ahead.

It's impossible to fully discuss an issue such as this in this forum. But I would hope that I might be able to give you an idea, give you something to think about. All I can say is that I hope the two of you can step back, look at this with different eyes, and try to face the issues together. What you had long ago is still there. You just need to work a little harder to refind it. And she does, too.

Also, my Libertarian brother from another mother Jordan Owen has produced a YouTube video completely ripping the concept of censorship such as this. I disagree with some of what he says, but on the fundamentals of the failure of censorship, he's right on the point.




UPDATE: C|Net just reported that the attempted European Parliament porn ban proposals have been shot down; they were stricken out of the bloc of proposals on attacking "gender stereotypes", which then ultimately passed.
