What's up with the remasters of older scenes on the Net?

I'm curious about websites remastering older scenes and then re-releasing them. A number seem to be doing it, such as Bangbros and a few others. I think it's a great idea so we can enjoy some older vids and photos in larger and clearer resolution. I wonder what it takes to rework these older releases though and if it's really a benefit to the websites.

I would imagine that it might be profitable, as I think people are going to want to see their favorites in a clearer format. Plus those who didn't see them the first time around. This isn't like redoing "The Brady Bunch" with a totally new cast (a wasted effort IMHO.) This is old standards in a new light.

Judging by how classic videogames get the "HD remaster" treatment almost all the time, giving classic porn videos the "HD remaster" treatment is a great idea
