So, let's get back to this. Someone posted a link in a Deauxma cam show, and the Admin commented to the poster that the clip posted was stolen from Deauxma. I maintained that the comment was not stolen from Deauxma, as it had the watermark from another site, not deauxma.com. Whether it was "stolen" from the other site, I do not know. And, with respect to the Admin, I don't really think he knows either.

While I agree that links to outside entities should not generally be allowed, it should be done on the basis of unrelated postings (even if it concerns the model,) as opposed to automatically labeling it as "stolen." The Admin involved did not come out on the open chat and call the content stolen, he discussed it via private channels, which was totally appropriate. And I am not sure that it is inappropriate to post a link to a video clip of the model. Here again, I think it is a dicey proposal.

My reason for trying to start a discussion is to try and determine, if possible, exactly how an end user can tell when he is looking at "stolen" content. Is a "tube" site, by itself, illegal? Is "YouTube" illegal? Is every site that posts video content illegal? If a site allows me to download a clip that has no copyright, is that illegal? Is it then illegal if I want to then share that clip on another site that allows members to upload video clips, especially if the original clip or clip owner has no copyright? Then, how do I know when a particular video clip has or does not have a specific copyright associated with it? Maybe it does. A watermark is used to establish ownership. But, does the placement of a watermark "prove" that a clip is stolen?

In the case of Vickyathome, generally it does. Content from VAH, or any of the VNA sites, is not released outside of VAH.com. So, if anything is posted on a site outside of VAH.com, that means someone joined the site, downloaded it, then posted it on another site. There again, that person may actually feel that, since he has downloaded it legally, it is his to do with as he wishes. And I think we all agree that is not true.

Can we say the same of Brazzers? I don't think so. Why can't we believe that Brazzers has provided clips from their sites as advertising? They have not posted whole movies, but simply clips. In at least one instance, there is even a link to Brazzers along with statements "come join our site for more content like this." To me, that does not indicate stolen content. That indicates advertising. I think we need to be careful in automatically labeling everything we see as stolen, because I don't believe that everything we see is stolen. I personally would think that a large site such as Brazzers or Naughty America, for example, that found a large amount of its stolen content on a specific site, would take steps to either remove that content or have the site shut down.

I did mention before that I do not see any legal comments on Vicky's site, and it seems to me that placement of such a comment would be warranted. "NOTICE: Content contained within the Vickyathome.com domain is the whole and exclusive property of Vickyathome.com. Paid members are allowed to download and save solely on their own personal computer or other device said content for their sole use and enjoyment. No content from Vickyathome,.com may be redistributed anywhere, in any format for any reason without the specific written approval of Vickyathome.com." The same would apply to all of the VNA sites. Would this stop pirated content? Probably not. But it does provide another avenue and justification for prosecution.

I will readily agree that just because a certain content is available for me to download for my own personal enjoyment does not also mean that I have the right to repost that content all over the internet, and I do not do that. Maybe that is the crux of the matter. We all download content from VAH.com. I can download it for my own enjoyment at a later time, but I cannot repost it anywhere else for any reason.

So, very simply, my question is, "How do I know when something I see on the internet is stolen?" Yes, I fully support the quashing of sites that allow the open sharing of stolen content. But, again, as end users, how do we know when something is stolen? I don't think the mere presence of a watermark automatically indicates stolen content.

The reason I am asking is that today I got an invitation to join the group, which I accepted, and after becoming a member I I noticed several difference adult performers' pictures are being used in the group, but the names on the profiles do not match their real life names.

One of the people is the group has a name of Viktoria Rokkett. The images that are being used are those of Vicky Vette. I've attached three photos from the group so you can see for yourself.

Gee do you think Viktoria Rokkett looks like me? Interesting choice for a name? Is it a combination of Vicky and Rokkerr? lol...

I find it fascinating that you yourself, Vicky, are continuously banished from having your own Facebook page mostly because of your chosen profession (and for protecting your identity)...yet Facebook allows these fake-ass groups to steal your pics and your identity and use it for their profit. All the while, no less, pretending to be so "antiporn" and "pro-family".

Then again...gotta admire the desperation of some people to get their VV fix. "Viktoria Rokkett"?!?!?!?

This girl on facebook has been reporting all the fake vicky vette profiles and girls with other names who are using my pictures. Don't know why she took this task upon herself but I thanked her profusely. She has reported over 25 profiles so far, and at least half of them have been removed!
