It wasn't that bad, it hurt for about 5 minutes... it hit 3 toes evenly, at least it wasn't all on one toe, lol... Hope I get what Julie's getting tonight too!

Every morning I go for about a mile walk, but before I go out I have a protein drink. Normally it's protein powder, skim milk, a banana, frozen strawberries and ice. This morning I was kinda tired and I mixed it all up and it's a lime green color. Instead of looking at what I added I threw in more strawberries and it's more green. So the brain kicks in and look at the package. I added mixed veggies, well with milk and a banana it was unique. I put that bag in the back of the freezer, I just hope I don't steam strawberries for supper one night

Of course I drank it, I'm way to lazy to start again, and I've made worse then that, remember exploding chickens!! :signhammer: No Gunther stays clear of my breakfasts, toast, jam and coffee everyday. I wonder why Booster juice hasn't come up with a banana-veggie drink, damn they don't know what there missing :lmao:

Last Thursday I was at the volleyball practice for the boys team. One kid asks if we can have just a workout instead of playing volleyball. I shrugged and said sure if you guys want. One of the boy is new here and says to a friend, what's she gonna do, train us to be girls!. I didn't acknowledge him but that got my evil mind going. After the warm up I put them through 2 super sets on there shoulders, triceps and abs. The one was almost to cruel, but I put them through them anyways, when they were done they were holding their arms, and a few on the knees. I said guys after that let's cool down nice. I had them put their backs to the wall and get in a squat with their knees at a 90. After 1 minute, I had them raise one leg, hold it for 30 seconds, then the next leg. I told them to them alternate legs for the next minute. After the workout I smiled and said to the one boy, that's how us girls workout!

Saturday we had some games and we lost every game. After I asked in the locker room what happened, the one boy said. "Our arms hurt so much, we could barely lift them. I started to laugh and told them I was icing my arms all day. One kid stood up and said they wouldn't question my workouts. So were all on the same page now and I don't want to do that again either

I've done that workout, lol... it's brutal! You taught them a lesson.... lol... I can't wait to get back to working out again. I think I have worked out a total of 3 times since july.... aaargggghhhh I can feel my body turning to mush..... I did go running 2 times while i was in boston, I felt great while I was running, probably cause it was only 8 am, but it wore me out, I had to bow out of the activities one afternoon, and go to the hotel to take a nap so I'd be ok for dinner with everyone. I asked my doctor yesterday, about running/jogging while having bronchitis and he said if you can do it, go ahead, it's not gonna hurt anything. Strange huh? I went out for a walk with the dogs this morning, but the skies opened up again. we tried to stand under a big tree, but in 2 min we were soaked to the bone.

So I went to the gym tonight for the first time in a long long time! Haven't been to boxing since July! With all the driving back and forth to GA and dealing with mold issues, getting sick, and living in a temporary house, I kind of let myself go. I had a bit of an "I don't give a shit attitude", and starting eating everything I normally wouldn't eat. We even stopped at Wendy's on the way home and got Baconators and fries in the car. I never do that! We've just been so stressed out lately, l don't even have my normal cooking utensils/pots/pans so we've been buying frozen food to heat up, canned pasta sauces, you know all the convenient quick and easy stuff. I normally make everything from scratch, and I can tell that I feel like crap from it. So it's time to kick myself in the ass and get back on track. Oh this is gonna hurt tomorrow. I only did 30 min (3m) on the treadmill and 30 min of heavy weights on my legs, but I can already tell it's gonna hurt, lol... I welcome it. It hurts so good! Not to mention how much working out lifts one's spirits. No wonder I've been crabby.

i love how you said "i've let my self go" i'm like what ??? i'd take a body like yours any day over what i have. i can't make it do anything. except bander dur but that's something i wouldn't want to give up lol

i wish you good luck and good workouts dear V, i know how you like them. who knows maybe with more inspiration and workout stories i may understand it some day.

mean time, i'll just sit with rokkerr and enjoy our baconators (wich i've never had!)

i just hate the pain and they always ask for money at the gym, if i were more into S&M i might do it!

Way to go Vicky :smile: for me a day without some kind of exercise is like a day without sunshine.

So a while ago I was talking to some friends and they were asking me about different exercises and I was giving them ideas. A few asked me if I could help them out. I looked in our garage and found a few things I could use, then went to the pawn shop bought a few things and then to the school. I knew they had some old equipment they never used, bought it and I had a mini gym. :situps: It started as just a few, but word got out and a few more wanted in, so one morning when I was out for my walk I saw a bay for rent. I asked about it and I did lots of sucking up :cockspank: :blow2: :foot: to get the money. I went to Grande Prairie and bought a bunch of bands, rings, medicine balls, a chin up bar, dumb bells, more mats and a few other things, mostly used. It's amazing at pawn shops how much used gym equipment is there and cheep.

There was only 8 people and most wanted to do fat burning and toning. I got the idea one night sitting there why don't I challenge them to see who can lose the biggest % of weight, and after 2 months I'd give the winner $1000. I put up some posters around town and within 2 weeks I had 24 people there and they went as teams of 2 to be more accountable. I charged each of them $150, and looking back I should have charged more. The guy I rented from him and his wife both signed up and she's trying to convince him to give me the bay for free, my fingers are crossed for that. I only run it from 7-11pm, cause I do work part time during the day and helping the kids at the school, and I'll never quit helping those kids out. :smile:

Next Saturday I'm gonna have a Halloween workout at 7-8 and 8:30-9:30, it's gonna be free, but they have to bring a donation to the food bank and a pumpkin. Not sure what I'm gonna do, but I'll make it kick ass hard.
