Some of you that have been around for a long time know that I have health issues. It was 6 years ago that I had a major heart attack. If it wasn't for the guys I worked with I wouldn't be here today. Even though I push the limits with my health, I do know when to stop thanks to my heart monitor. I've been seeing a cardiologist since then. He told me a few months ago they have figured out what's wrong with me, besides the obvious! I had a birth defect in my heart, a valve didn't develop properly. So they decided to check my heart with a camera and if they could put in a stent they would. If they couldn't I would need open heart surgery. Well they were able to put it in thankfully and I'm on the road to being normal

Yesterday I was so scared that just before I went in the OR, I told Gunther how much I loved him and if I don't wake up to please tell Vicky. But here I am waiting to go home and raise hell when I get the green light. I am going to listen to my doctors, cause I want a long life of insanity!

I stayed quiet about this cause I hate drama that involves me. I love you all

I'm really happy for you, Julie. For you, being normal is being a wild woman. And I know how it irks you to sometimes have to cut back. If you can be "normal" again, I know of no greater gift. Keep the faith, and know we love you, too.

Thanks everyone I had to stay in the hospital a bit longer, but I'd rather do that then leave to early. I'm sure they also wanted to know what makes me go from sleeping to full speed in seconds.

wow I didn't realize we have something in common babes!!!!,

I also suffered a heart attack in March 2012 and wow has it affected me!!!!, already a person who was very shy and in-secure, not confident etc its totally ripped me apart babe!, although I do try to 'carry on' as if things are normal I am always telling myself 'don't do too much Darren' or just watch it etc?.

My body has changed although I've still got my good looks and 6 pack belly !!!!!!!!! it's still sometimes all very strange and sometimes hard to handle?, work kinda is a devil but a god in that I push myself as I always do because hard graft and effort is my way but it also sometimes makes my body say 'slow down abit fatty' lol....I've done too much and had to have overnight stays in the hospital a couple of times but that's me being me ie:stupid Julie lol....

I'm warmed by your story and how you deal with it because it sounds as though you are dealing it with it better than me and maybe I should be like you honey?, respect to ya Julie, I wish nothing but good luck, warm thoughts and happiness babe,

Hello Julie, been this thread, wanted to wish you all the best in your recovery!
I know you put everything you can into whatever you do in your life leaving nothing in the tank & you will be back to normal in time. Having Gunther supporting you will make things that much easier too!
