Won't happen again, Emily. I've had too many spankings all ready in my old life.

I'll confirm Walts comments, I've been forced to land from sudden snow storms in June, July, and August up here. Then again I've seen green grass growing, and tree's budding in Jan and Feb one year too. Take a large dart board, in the center print out a label that says "true forecast", and a second that can go on everything else that says "wrong forecast", now close your eyes and toss a dart, and you'll know what the forecast will be for tomorrow.
The saying in Alaska is "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it'll change'. and it usually does.

just a bit south of Anchorage, Alaska. Where at moon today it's overcast and +38f (+4c)
and the forecast says, "sunny and clear, expected temp of +46, ya sure, I'll believe it when it happens, and not a moment before.

The forecast for this new week brings a smile to my face. Temps are expected to go up to 15C - 20C (60F - 68F). That's certainly a big change compared to last week when a storm dominated everyday life in Holland and some other European countries. Glad to see spring is really knocking on the door now. Although it is kinda weird to see Ashley Fires tweet about a couple more inches of snow in Vermont! I'd spontaneously want to move down south, lol. Spring is the season of a blue sky, pretty flowers and happy people.

Well, Anchorage finally got snow, on Easter, about 4" at 6am, by noon it was melted down to about an inch, and by mid afternoon it was gone. First 'heavy' snow we've had ALL winter. Now it's +44f and they are forecasting winds peaking at 85mph tonight, already hitting 30-32mph, a bit breezy out there.

With Opening Day Week we seem to be getting a little taste of Spring, mid 60s, some sun, BEFORE turning back to 40s and rain rest of the week. lovely.

Well AussieSteve lives in QLD, they always say in that state that the weather is Beautiful one day Perfect the next. Well NSW (Sydney) is Fantastic one day and Glorious the next. weather today was 12C to 24C not bad for Autumn. The harbor looked lovely.

I took the dogs for a 4 mile run at 8 this morning, it was already almost 80 by then, (I guess I'll go at 7 from now on), a mile in it started sprinkling, then a light rain... it was so weird because it was still bright sun! The pavement was so hot that the rain caused steam to come off it, my feet were so hot and there was steam up to my knees... lol... I kept passing other runners and walkers who were saying "only in florida huh?" and "gotta love florida" and stuff like that.....
