Any porn surfer worth his salt knows that there are hundreds of thousands of pictures of young women out there in various stages of undress doing various levels of porn. But, my belief is that the men (and possibly the women) out there who are working hard to get young women to take their clothes off do not care about those women. They care about the dollars they can make off of them.
And the one girl in that clip found out that, for the money, the people wanted bondage. And, if you look around enough, you will discover that those folks are doing some pretty serious work on the girls. You'd better be a pretty hard case if you don't want to be driven out pretty early. You've got to be able to push the envelope, but strong enough to be able to say "enough!" when you reach your limit.
I think the ladies see it as a quick and easy way to make lots of money. But, if you want to really make money at it, you'd better be pretty damn savvy, intelligent and strong. A capable, strong, intelligent woman like a Vicky Vette is a rarity, not the norm. She knew she had to stand up, establish her own world and build it herself - NOT let someone else do it for her and take most of the money. That kind of success is rare. And you'd better be a pretty easy-going person, too. Thick skinned? Yeah, that, too.

Walt, dude! You just trumped my post! Ha, ha, I guess we posted at the same time, because mine went poof! Anyway, good thing I copied it before clicking submit (from previous experiences):
Mmmh, very interesting. I haven't watched it, but after seeing the trailer I'm not really leaning towards to it. However, I can't really say anything until I actually do watch it. From the trailer, it looked more like "reality-showesque". Once people are in front of a camera, they behave different (it always happens). I tend to go more with numbers, specifically statistics. The trailer does not really show anything new or that we do not know: young girls (and guys) get exploited everyday, and it has been happening for decades and decades. But, that's not exclusive of porn. I personally don't like how the porn industry is always being demonized (which, given, it has a lot of bad elements and practices), but the mainstream studios (Hollywood for the most part) get a free pass and even praise. On both you have virtually the same situation: the exploitation of young kids, be it to sing, to act, to perform, etc., and give them "loads of cash", when in reality, the ones pulling the strings are the ones who take home the real dough. Porn, as in any other multi-billion dollar industry, is plagued with people who don't care about it, they just want to get some quick cash. For me, porn is no better or worse than any other big business, it's pretty much the same (it just happens to revolve around sex, which is what makes a lot of people cringe, and in my particular case, the reason why I love it). As in any other business, our ethics will dictate how we conduct ourselves. A young girl with no experience who gets offered tons of cash for almost no work? Of course she's going to take it (and the producers know that, they even count on that). But everything has a price, nothing is "that easy". I don't know, I'm just rambling, but this documentary sounds more like the same I've heard before. I'll try to watch it, though. Thank you Vicky for sharing!

Haha, sorry 'bout that, Pops. don't know if that was it, but I know it hurts to lose a lot of typing. Glad you copied it first. I'm "kind of" into that habit.
You're right, of course. Anywhere there's big money, the rats come out of the woodwork. As AC/DC says, "It's a long way to the top if you want to Rock and Roll."

Yes, I have seen it last weekend (German Version).
I think some aspects in this film are OK, but most of them are terrible
It describes a kind of Moloch, an exploiting system where most young girls end up in shame & hopelessness. BTW.... there was no word about a suiside rate...
These girls have no clue about the business & sell their pussy for a pittance... & they are doing ALL variations of porn from the beginning on.
Oh, & one special aspect I want to comment very negative: Disgracing Porn Movies & Clips. We already discussed this matter her in the forum. Pornstar Disgrace or so was the website as far as I remember. The girls in the film told that it was all fake, & not as serious as it looked like & the boys excused if the situation got out of hand. This is nonsense! Why the hell producing disgracing videos? The comment in the film mentioned that 40% of all porn movies & clips are showing disgraced women!
The girls think they are free & independent with a lot of cash in their wallet, but they have to pay a rent for just a mattress on the floor, in a room with 3 other girls?
& that "manager" guy, who is producer, director & artist all in one person? He gets most of the girl's money, with the benefit to fuck them for free... & I bet, he doesn't pay any expenses for the girls. As they mentioned in the film, most girls give up within one month, strong ones can make it 6 month before they give it up, or have to give it up.
Brandmarked with the stigma of a hoe (worst case) or sexworker (best case), they have no chance to get a good job after porn, anymore.
& did you recognise how the high pressure of the girl's BF & her familie was? I really could feel that through the screen.
The BF behaved like an idiot, in my opinion. He knew what she was doing, but wanted her despite of that & on the other hand he was jealous as fuck! Kind of hyporite...
In the end her parents & her BF won. Not bad at all, I think , because better to go a new way than feeding that exploiter asshole.
It's a shame that girls have to do it for the or they are unemployed, sitting at home, chanceless... probably with a bad education, only getting jobs in fastfood shops, with a worthless wage...
I think, this was an interesting film, showing the reality in details, straight & genuine.
A good film, despite of I don't like what I saw...

My short take on "Hot Girls Wanted"?? Yet another libel on porn women, dismissing them as tools of evil men using the worst extreme examples to punish everyone else.
It's not surprising that people like Rashida Jones who believe that any woman who attempts to own their sexuality should be shamed and attacked for "acting like whores" would produce this type of antiporn agitprop. It's almost as if they paid these girls to troll Craigslist for the most unscruplous escort services, so that they can find the exact porn shops that fit their predetermined negative stereotypes, so they can sell their "Porn destroys and corrupts girls!!!" meme. I mean, it's not as if sites like FacialAbuse.com aren't readily accessible to anyone seeking info, or they could have simply asked current porn girls who have been there. This whole movie smells like a setup deliberately designed to indict, try, and convict the whole of porn for crimes it's not responsible for.
And that's even before we get to the hypocrisy of Ava Taylor/Rachel using this film to cry about the evils of porn/sex work while still porning and doing escort work.
The fact that they had antiporn whackjob activist Gail Dines on to promote this movie, and that one of the producers is a Catharine MacKinnon protege, says all that needs to be said about their motives.

The "40% of all porn is 'disgraced women'" meme is a popular trope put out by antiporn "feminist" Gail Dines to slander all porn, even the milder "feminist porn", as the template of rape and degradation of women.
Also, I suspect that many of the scenes of "disgrace" are simply staging and hyperbole done to promote the worst stereotype of young women pursuing porn, as a means of selling the main antiporn theme of "abuse and exploitation".
This film is simply the XXX version of "Reefer Madness"; unfit for nothing but propaganda. Actual sex workers and porn performers, if given the chance, could do much better.

Well I sat down this afternoon and watch the documentary.
When the film started I thought "OK, adult people making adult decisions with their lives". By the end I had remembered when I was 18 and couldn't make an adult decision if my life depended on it. I felt like I was watching lambs being led to the slaughter house by a bunch of wolves.
Vicky, you mentioned mixed feelings about it. What was your take on what you saw?

I heard about this video and I've been meaning to watch it. I'll watch it tonight. I was told it was more about cam girl life, not teen porn. I'm guessing this is a "sad" documentary about how bad their experience was in the pro industry. Is there a documentary about the positive side of porn? I love the adult industry! DAMNIT!!!

I hate these sort of things because it just adds to people's perceptions of the porn industry in general being shady and bad. I didn't watch the movie but I did see the trailer. Yes, there are people looking to take advantage of young girls who know nothing about the business and only have the promised dollar signs in their eyes. But taking advantage of others is something that happens everywhere, all the time, in many businesses and certainly not just porn. People scamming the elderly, pushing all these credit cards on college students to get them to rack them up and get into bad debt...this sort of happened to me. I believe it's Axel Braun who last year made the policy that he will not hire talent that is under 21. When I was 18, hell even 21, I thought I knew everything. Obviously as a grown woman I know that's not the case.
Years ago, I did a g/g scene for Reality Kings with a girl doing her first ever scene. I think she was 19. She was repped by a big agency, same one that I was with at the time, but has no clue what Reality Kings was or what site we were shooting for. We get the info from our agents and she didn't even think to google or do any research on the company of look at their sites. She said she wanted to try porn and make some money and hey, there's so many sites out there that nobody would ever see her or find out. I told her that Reality Kings was one of the biggest companies out there with like 20 sites and yeah, people were going to see her and recognize her. She was completely flabbergasted and had no idea how big some of these companies were. Was any of this her agent's fault or the companies fault? Not one bit, she didn't do her homework. I entered the porn world a bit later in my life but I would have never shown up at a shoot without knowing exactly what the deal was.
Maybe this documentary will make some girls open their eyes and see that you don't book porn shoots off of Craigslist and to really weigh your decisions when it comes to entering the adult business. I wish I could mentor some of them!
Also, I would love to see a documentary about the positive side of porn. But nobody wants to see that. They want to believe that it's full of scum, STDs and shady people. My experience in porn has been wonderful! I have met some amazing people, gotten to travel to places like NYC, Toronto, South France and St. Martin, I've always been treated great on set and never been pressured to do a single thing that I wasn't comfortable doing. Some people might be disappointed to learn that most people in adult are just basically normal people with spouses, children, some are students, etc, but we enjoy fucking and performing on camera. It's great meeting so many open minded people who have a passion for the same thing that I do.

Also, I forgot to add that my experience in porn is one that I know many girls share as well. Yes, there are girls who don't have great experiences but I know many that do...we all discuss : )

Here is a decent review of HGW that was posted to the libertarian Right site Reason:
http://reason.com/blog/2015/06/04/hot-girls-wanted
What really floors me is that the actual experiences of the girls featured is nowhere near the "degrading" and "defiling" mode the authors of this claptrap doc make it out to be. There are some not-so-good encounters, but the attitudes of the girls seem to be far more mature and accepting of the risks; nowhere near the horrors depicted by the gothic fantasies of the producers. Even when "Jade" appears on that FacialAbuse video, she openly says that she has no problem with acting out "rough sex"; yet that is simply dismissed out of hand in the propaganda attempt to smear all porn as defiling women. It's this complete lack of respect for even experiences that they see through their very eyes that epitomizes the base ideology of Hot Girls Wanted.
It's as if since they didn't find a true experience that matched their assumptions, the producers simply grafted their biases onto these women, then attempted to bribe them into pretending to be so "exploited".
Of course, all this will be ignored in the media's attempt to laud this phony documentary as the wake-up call for "saving our girls" from the "defilement" of discovering their own sexuality. This is "Reefer Madness" all over again.

Well, as usual, I talk too much. But I hope I come across the way I mean to. However, if you wish to jump all over me, feel free. And, no, I have not watched the entire video either, only the snippet posted here.
Hopefully, food for thought: So, because there are a number (maybe a large number) of producers/agents/whatever that treat the ladies with courtesy, respect and fairness, is that any reason to ignore the sleaziness of the dirtbags out there? Do we just ignore that percentage? Many of the performers we know and love are a smart and intelligent women. But there are many out there that aren't. There are many who grew up in protected, sheltered lives. So they have no clue as to what to expect. They've just been introduced to a new and exciting thing. SEX. So, does that mean that because they haven't done their homework, that we just ignore them? Let the chips fall where they may? Whatever happens to them happens?
Maggie, every thing you say is absolutely true. You are obviously a well-grounded, intelligent person. I could tell that early on, long before you posted here. There is no doubt that some young innocent, meeting you, or a Vicky or a ShandaFay or a Trisha or one of the many good and decent and intelligent ladies out there is the best thing that could happen to them.
So, isn't it maybe a duty of the intelligent, world-savvy member of the industry to help those in need? Not meaning just yourself, but all of the good and decent people who just happen to enjoy taking their clothes off, especially in an industry such as porn. Vicky helps as many as she can, maybe with just advice or whatever. Many of the ladies do. Some will say no, I'm not my brothers keeper. But I don't believe that for a second. Even in my own industry, I loved teaching those coming up what I had learned, anything to help them to do good, conscientious work. In a way, I felt that my industry had been good to me, so maybe I felt I owed it, I don't know. Personally, I think I just like to help others. So, If I had been into porn, I'm sure I would have done as you do, to point out to "newbies" the things they need to be aware of. The more we teach, the more they learn, and the less they fall prey to the sleazes of whatever particular industry.
"...taking advantage of others is something that happens everywhere...." Absolutely true. I just read what I thought was an extremely well-written editorial about how the news media (all of it) is contributing to the hysteria the country is currently ensnared in. "The media follows the circus more than the circumstance." People would rather hear about the gore and sleaze instead of the good and decent side of life. And, instead of media trying to "re-orient" the direction of the public's leaning, they long ago decided to take the low road and only report the sleaze. Don't report, or even investigate the story, just the part that will inflame and incite people, no matter whether those people be right or wrong.
There is no doubt in my mind that the porn industry has a very strong good and decent side, and that they have to fight every day just to earn even a modicum of respect. We can all help by treating the ladies, not as "objects," but as hard-working people who have simply decided that they love being exhibitionists and showing us "what they got." And, if you ever want to bad-mouth a model because of what she does, you only need remember one thing. You are looking. The easy way to get porn out of your life? Stop looking.
I think we must remember, yes, there is a good and decent side to porn - we hope a very large side. But, unfortunately, there is a bad and dark side, too. And we cannot ignore that. In fact, if we want porn to be acceptable, we must do everything we can to drive the sleaze out of the industry.
Personally, I love the ladies of the VNA and others I have met thanks to Vicky and the VNA. I am proud to know them and to be a part of their world. And honored that people of such high stature would be so nice that they treat even old me with courtesy and respect, and let me be a part of their world.

Couldn't figure out where to put this to be sure Vicky saw it. Gives me an idea for the next VNA get-together. After all, it does involve hot girls -- lots of 'em, lol.
Does anyone need a new washing machine? I hear you can get a new Siemens for only 269 Euros.

I haven't watched it & was told by Ashlee Graham that it would be a waste of my time. When I talked to her 2 weeks ago, she was getting ready to shoot a documentary that included Dani Daniels and Eva Lovia. She told me that it was a counter to HGW. I'll have to ask her who produced it and when it will be available and once I get the info, I'll let everyone know
