I don't know what the temperature was today but every time I was outside I felt like my clothes were sticking to me. Just not a good feeling. If I walk I walk early in the morning is usually cool. I see people walking and running in the middle of the day, I think they are crazy!

Your right Vicky, and Zany it's not healthy and it will screw up your body's balance. You'll drink lots of water, but that just flattens out your electrolyte balance, not a good situation. The average human body isn't designed to be doing heavy running in those tempatures, unless your life depends on it. Gator Aid or another drink like that will help, and if you can still find them Salt tablets aren't a bad idea if your stuck with only water. As much as my profession doesn't like extra salt in your diet, you need it to keep your body healthy and balanced.

Today it 90 degrees and feels like 100 degrees the great state of South Carolina!!!

Don't know what the humidity is I just know it's sticky!!!

It's still hot in Orlando. 90s during the day...mid 70s at night. Humidity running around 90%. And...it rains like crazy most afternoons. It won't stop raining until the heat cools down (Fall to Spring)

the good news may come in December if the forecasted EL Nino provides the rain they hope it will, but we need 4-6 years of EL Nino to get back on track

Godamn rain! 2 weeks ago I bleached the hell out of my back deck/pool area...... It's only been 2 weeks! It's all moldy again! Rain rain rain... nothing ever dries out with the humidity and rain every day.... yuck! I hate mold! Sometimes I wish i was in Arizona!

Today it's 82 degrees with rain off and on but nothing real serious! We cut the grass, it rains the grass grows crazy and before we know we have cut the grass again.

At least when I had a dog he kept the grass down in the back yard!

Severe thunderstorms for most of the evening and into the overnight hours. A funnel cloud was spotted a few miles south of me earlier tonight, not sure if it touched down to be classified as a tornado though

Don't know what your water access is when you're running, Vicky, but I found a neat collapsible canvas and rubberized water dish somewhere. It folds in half and is about the size of a personal pizza. I carry a bottle of water and that dish when I take Fred out. I use the cloth to dry the bowl out before I zip it up. Carry a bottle or two of water and you're set.

It's in the upper 80s (degrees) here in SC but last night was a little cooler that it has been. So the early morning was cooler than I expected and I didn't want to get up.

Clouds all around us but no rain. (rain all around us, lol.) Somehow the clouds know to come close enough to make us think we actually need a weather reporter. I mean, how hard is it to say "hot and dry?" They go to school for that?

Sunny and bright, not a cloud in the sky, and hey fall is almost upon us, it's 24 with frost on the pumpkins, and my windshield this morning. Time to have to figure in a bit of defrost time on the old Iron horse, for I hit the road, lest I hit someone instead..I could easily have withstood a longer fall, with the temps back in the mid 70's without hurting my feelings at all.
