Walter I want to thank both you and Rokkerr for writing the words that convinced me to take a chance and go on an adventure, and what an adventure it was!

I just made it back home, safe and sound - I will post a follow up tomorrow and share photos of some of the treasures I found, but right now it's bedtime for Bonzo.

Hiya Vicky, this is just a little note to let you know I viewed your first opus - Funkenstein. The most believable scene = the car over the hill. Unbelievable special effects. lol Actually I enjoyed the film - very campy. (this is my first post on a forum) Have no clue how to use the emoticons. :(

To use the smilies/emoticons, while you are typing your post, you simply place the mouse where you want to put the smiley, here, for example, , then click the smiley you want to use. If you want to look through the entire selection, just click "view more smilies" at the bottom of the smilies.

Whe you are ready to post, click the "Preview" button. Your post will appear at the top so you can look it over, to be sure it looks like you want it. The "edit" box will still be open. When you're happy with everything, click "Submit." Then click "view your submitted message" to see it on the forum. If you want to correct something, just click "Edit" at the upper right.

Yes it was Cherie Currie. We didn't go, we were just exhausted we went out to eat and didnt finish till about 10 and believe it or not, I was up in my room answering customer service emails till 1 am... lol.. such a crazy life of partying i live huh? But there were members who forgot passwords or got locked out, so first things first...

So for an event called Chiller, I came out of it with a lot of warm, fuzzy feelings. This was my first convention (ever, of any kind) and I had an absolute blast! Everyone that I spoke to was super friendly and I had some amazing conversations with people from all over the country. Vicky and the rest of the VNA crew greeted me with open arms, and even invited me along to meet the headliner Weird Al Yankovik! I can't wait to do it again!

I picked up a whole bunch of loot, some for myself and some to be given away as gifts. I spent all three days walking around and found new stuff every day! Some of the stuff I found was so over the top that I couldn't help but take photos to share.



I spent several hours digging through unorganized crates of unlabeled, unalphabetized vinyl records searching for comedy albums, I found these four keepers. Not that they're particularly rare, but digging through crate after crate and then finding something makes it that much more gratifying. SCORE!



They also had the Monkeemobile, a modified Pontiac GTO, parked out front, the detailing on this thing was remarkable!



As well as the original Bat Cycle from 1966, accompanied by cutouts of the Adam West vintage Batman and Robin



And of course, supporting VNA's Commander in Briefs and Major Trouble, I picked up some goodies from Vicky & Sunny who were both gracious enough to add their personal touch.
