This was my first year at the comic expo and it was amazingggggggggggggggggg!

As it started out I was so worried because I know its a family event and I wasn't sure how people were going to view my very sexy costume.......but I got out of the car walked 50 feet and was over whelmed with parents bringing there little kids up to me and taking pics. I was shocked it was funny. Then the adults came and I felt like it was an adult convention all over. Some of the work people put into their costumes is very impressive. I only found 1 Batman though....boooo lot's of jokers. Check my Instagram for some pics/vids.
I had the best time and it was the biggest event I had ever seen here other then the Stampede. I was actually recognized by people ...I wonder how many others but didn't come up to me haha that was surprising.

I can't wait to share with you guys. I have pics and a Batgirl got it in the ASS video to go with!!! haha

Next year....Batgirl may show up for one night but I'm working on finding a new cosplay character .....suggestions Members????????????

Ive done some research (& asked my mom too lol) So Im thinking maybe:

Jean Grey (x-Men)
Black Widow (Avengeres)
Mary Jane (Spiderman's Babe)
Poison Ivy (Batman Lady Vilian)

Hopefully This Helps, I Was Trying To Think Of One's With Red HairBut What Ever You Whip Up Im Sure You'll Knock Em Dead!

So, was this the version of Batgirl that was painted on?

Cosplay can become a full-time hobby if you're not careful. I follow Marie-Claude Bourbonnais (from the Montreal area) and she blogs about all the things she does to create her costumes. Heavy-duty sewing because she has to do leather pieces. 3-D printing for some of the more complex parts. She goes into a lot of detail on her blog on her website. http://mcbourbonnais.com/en/blog/

When looking for cosplay ideas, look for ideas that will be fun and/or characters you like. Just remember that it doesn't have to be sci-fi or superhero, pretty much any character that you identify with could be a starting point for a great cosplay.
