Naughty America is doing some VR. The problem is the cost. You need to buy the viewer, and many people have found to use it they needed to buy a new, higher powered, computer that would cost several K.

I think the market is very limited for this VR stuff. It seems costly and will probably fade away like 3-D movies....oh wait a minute...what I meant to say is that it might fade away like 4K television. Great technology but little people will commit to it or more importantly pay for it.

Betamax was actually a better quality video, Mike. Problem was, the tapes were only 4-1/2 hours, and VHS tapes were 6 hours. That's why people went to VHS. Apparently they either didn't notice the better quality or didn't care.

I got some sort of virtual reality gizmo at one of the recent conventions. Some sort of folded up cardboard thing. I tried to get it put together but 1) couldn't figure out how to make it work, and 2) couldn't see myself watching porn with some big contraption hanging off my face. Now, if they figure out how to incorporate Google Glass, that might work. But, then, the problem would still be cost. I know I won't pay a lot for a bunch of extra crap just to watch what I can see on my laptop or my DVD player (or Google Chrome on my TV.) I'm poor enough as it is, lol.
