I friend of mine in Sao Paulo saw X-Men Apocalypse yesterday and said it was much better than the critics give it credit for.

Saw "Angry Birds" last night. Not a huge "game" player when it comes to my electronics. My kids, however, a different story, which means my phone is full of games including Angry Birds. Cute how they integrated the basis of the game into the movie. Lots of things went over kids heads that adults got and I'm sure the "premise" was lost on many adults that the kids got (unless the adults play the game!)

Went to see "Green Room" last night. Didn;t know much about it going into it as I'd not seen previews. Just what I'd read about it online. Punk band goes to do a last show ... for a bunch of Nazi's ... and things go South. Patrick Stewart is in it. He's the only "name" ....

Much better movie than I anticipated. Gross and gory here and there ... but that's to be expected I suppose. Had to physically look away a couple times and I can usually stomach some gore.

I kind of snorted derisively when I saw that they were making a live action Jungle Book and didn't pay much attention to it after that. After it was out for a while, I noticed that it was getting all kinds of rave reviews and now I'm kind of curious about it. I'll have to go see it sometime.

Finally got round to seeing X-Men Apocalypse last night and really enjoyed it. As always with the X-Men films there's not a lot of humour and it mainly focuses on the action. It's quite a fast paced film with more back story for the characters included. Michael Fassbender is simply awesome and I'm quite looking forward to Olivia Munn returning to the series as Psylocke.

A super film that for some reason was released a lot later over here was Eye in the Sky with Helen Mirren and Alan Rickman - if you haven't seen it then do - great storyline and acting.

I saw X-Men Apocalypse last night as well as loved it. I found Storm to be a rather boring character for this particular movie, but expect to see more from her in the future. I thought QuickSilver was funny. I stayed after the credits and finally saw the teaser for what comes next ... and we can't talk about int on here because so few will have seen the movie in the first couple days, but I never read any of the comics, so have NO idea what was going on for the teaser.

I've seen a couple movies recently.

Yesterday saw Conjuring 2. Loved it. They did a great job with it in my opinion. Better than the first ... which is tough to do as most sequels suck!

WarCraft ... strangely ... probably one of my favorite movies so far this year!

Alice Through the Looking Glass. I didn't see the first one(s) ..?? So didn't know what to expect. Was decent.

TMNT - was OK. Nothing to write home about.

I think that's all I've seen since I last wrote!?!? :)

Finally got to see xmen apocolypse. I thought it was ok. Storm is one of the most powerful characters yet the movies never seem to portray her as such. I guess since in days of future past they changed history in the 70's they can do all these things that conflict with the first xmen movies.

I saw it today, wasn't too bad. It has been awhile since I saw the first one but still had some scary moments in it.

I saw Tarzan today. It was a little slow at points but overall i enjoyed it. The cinematography was beautiful. The performances were good ( samuel l. jackson is always fun to watch). I'd recommen it.
