Welp...someone picked up Lisa's gauntlet and slapped her right back.

https://kvalegal.wordpress.com/2015/01/ ... porn-star/

The whole thing is a masterpiece worth reading; but I'll snip the closing graphs:
So Lisa Ann, what you have done is:

(1) participated in whorearchy;

(2) offended fellow sex workers;

(3) offended non-sex workers with your gender based comments;

(4) marginalise the industry; and

(5) pissed a whole lot of people off.

So, Lisa Ann, remain in your Porn Star Ivory Tower if you wish to, but right now, I am concerned than 800,000 people will develop the same disgusting attitude that you have displayed by posting that You Tube clip. No woman is better off or any less that what they are worth – to themselves. They wake up with themselves every morning and go to bed every night as sex workers. How they feel about themselves doing what they CHOOSE to do (in most circumstances), is THEIR business, no one else’s. Sex workers should not have to justify to ANYONE why or how they make a living. I am a lawyer. I don’t need to explain why I chose my career, why should sex workers? How dare you create a ladder where sex workers must seek to “fit in”, and thus have their worth determined on this basis.

Sex workers have to live with this stigma that you are perpetuating in that clip and my guess is that you simply do not care about how damaging it is to the industry to make the comments that you have.
Stop digging, Lisa.

For maybe the sixth time in my life I have to agree with a lawyer. Damn she hit it right on the head. Lisa I think has met her match, but probably won't understand most of what was being said to and about her, that's a shame, Lisa has bitten off more than she's going to want to chew this time.
And it's about time.

ps the only stigma that 799,999 other women will have to live with is that Lisa is one of them.
I'm so sorry ladies that you have to have that "one".

Just came across this, I'm a fan of Lisa's work but her overall attitude has turned me off. I know she's on XM radio now and talking sports. India Summer and Brandi Love are knowledgeable as well while still coming off humble. Feel bad for the backlash Brandi has gotten recently from fans for doing her first IR.

I don't really agree with Lisa sex workers are sex workers or performers. She seems to forget the hurdles that the adult film industry went through they wanted that go be illegal as well. Being an escort shouldn't even be illegal should be a profession with regulations that could make paying for sex safer for both men and women.

Methinks Ms. Lisa Ann is unaware of the several hundred million people who are: 1. clueless as to who you are 2. living, contented, well adjusted lives in complete ignorance of your "body of work" (A more self important, pretentious turn of phrase I cannot imagine). As to the nature of your "stardom", I've had the misfortune to witness some of these "epics". A more distasteful caricature of sex I cannot imagine. Describing your "work" as a product is very apropos, because sex it is not.
Take the hint from father time, Lisa, and find another occupation because you've belittled and despoiled the one in which you are. Make way for the dedicated, sincere actors in this industry who have more talent in their little finger than you have in that increasingly fat ass of yours. You know what they say about people who defecate where they eat..........they are seldom the brightest bulb on the tree (to be kind). :ohthedrama:
