Related: Many restaurants are giving free meals to veterans today (and Krispy Kreme will give you a free doughnut, haha.) So go out and use that. You've earned it.

If you want to find one locally, google "free meal and veterans day and (your town)" Many major chains are doing so. I saw one is giving 'buy one, get one free' which does single people no good at all.
I can resist everything except temptation.
