I don't remember what all I commented on last time??
I saw Conjuring 2 ... loved it!
Saw Finding Dory... thought it was cute, but preferred Finding Nemo.
Saw The Secret Life of Pets tonight. Really Cute. Stay during credits to see more of your favorite head banging poodle :)
I thought Independence Day was decent. Honestly fell asleep a couple times during it - my kiddo that came with me kept nudging me awake...
The Shallows, I thought was fabulous. Unrealistic, yes, but still great (and gore does happen ... so expect that if you've not seen it yet!)
The Nice Guys ... pretty funny. Didn't know if was about Porn Stars til 12 seconds in ... or would have better chosen company to see it with ...
Alice Through the Looking Glass ... I didn't see the first one(s) of these ... but suppose I technically didn't need to ... was Ok

My little one was finally feeling well enough to go to camp, so treated others to go see Tarzan.
I didn't go into with any expectations really. Know the story. Didn't pay much attention to the previews I'd seen for it, but it was simply "something to do".
I enjoyed it. Thought it was a pretty good movie.

Saw Ghostbusters today. Wasnt sure how it would be going in since most reboots have a lousy track record but it was entertaining. I thought the leading ladies were vey funny. Not quite as good as the original in my opinion but still pretty good.
Keep smiling. It makes people wonder what you are up to :-)

I as well saw Ghostbusters.
I found it ODD that nowhere throughout the film ... that apparently took place in the same location as the previous film ... there had seemingly NEVER been a previous Ghostbusters. Anyone else notice that and find it semi-annoying!?!?
Otherwise, I found it very funny. I thought it was well done. Loved the cameo appearances ... my favorite part was probably DURING the credits ... for those who stay, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

This is being treated as the first film in a new franchise. The events of the previous movies never happened. I thought they should have made a sequel and had it be a passing of the torch kind of thing.

Saw Bourne, it was what I expected, lots of shakey cam and quick cut fight/chase scenes. If you enjoyed the formula of the other movies, this is more of (exactly) the same. People in the theater gave it an ovation at the end, I had to wonder if we were watching the same movie...
Suicide Squad is up next.

Saw Ghostbusters last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thinking of going to see it again.
Movie night a week or so ago we watched Gods of Egypt. It wasn't nearly as bad as the reviews made it out to be. Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoyed it.

I did make my way to seeing Star Trek last weekend. I enjoyed it. Always enjoyed the Star Trek movies though I was never really a "Trekkie".
Saw Nerve as well. WOW is all I can say. I LOVED it. It was very edge of my seat, wanting to look away sometimes, but like a train wreck, keep looking anyway. It thought it was VERY intense!

Saw Star Trek Last Night , I loved it
Watched Batman Vs Superman tonight for movie night at my buddy's place. It was... OK. Not my particular vision of either character, but it was interesting. Lots of problems with it, and at least one of my friends wished he could have that three hours back. I wasn't particularly impressed by it, and I'm glad that I didn't see it in the theater. Then again, I've always been a Marvel guy and never really read any of the DC comics, though I really did enjoy Miller's Dark Knight Returns in the mid '80s.

I thought all the main actors did an OK job, it just seemed like they didn't have much to work with, which was too bad.

The Batman movies have never been my favorite. Fell asleep through the first couple I ever tried to watch .... should have been an indication to give up , but I still love movies so keep trying them. Marvel is DEFINITELY better in my opinion than DC ... Saw Suicide Squad last night. Even the 6 year old wanted to go see it ... and she's since been carrying a bat (and hitting everyone with the damn thing) , dressing like her and had me buy blue and pink hair color spray and do her makeup like her ... so safe to say SHE loved the movie ... I thought it was OK. Much better than the critics are giving it credit for but again ... DC vs Marvel, Marvel wins hands down!

Went to watch BFG the other day. A fight almost broke out between two families sitting directly to the right of me ... so I missed a good 15 minutes of it between their ridiculous bickering and me deciding I'd had enough of their shit and went to tell management, but aside from that, I enjoyed the movie. Was concerned may be too "scary" for little ones ... but definitely not the case (for mine anyway - I won't speak for the others that were there)... Actually really cute movie :)
