On the upside, 'I'll rip your deep web a new wormhole' is totally a new epithet we'll be using amongst ourselves. Also, as with everything we've watched, it was still a better love story than Twilight.
That's really interesting, I thought I saw a programme where the NTSB ran simulations and the plane only made it back to the airport 50% of the time. Bearing in mind, the pilots went through the correct checklist in the event of a birdstrike there was really no other option for them. They did a pretty good job with it, but then by the time he wrote this book, Dan Brown had stopped writing novels and was writing 'novels to be turned into screenplays' so it would have been difficult to fuck it up too much. Not sure how it will screen to someone who hasn't read the book, but there are some good twists. I was surprised how much of it I remembered considering that I read the book right after it came out. Made me hope that they eventually do a movie for the Lost Symbol.
