I know you live in south FL, so just wanted to say "stay safe" Vicky. It looks like it's gonna be a Cat 4 storm by the time it hits.
I don't know who else on here, model or member, is in the path of the storm but I hope you all find a safe place to be and there's no floating cars to come back home to. I've lived in the Midwest my whole life so I can only imagine what one of these storms can do.

I'm on the west coast so we are safe might just get some rain and wind. Sara is in Miami (but she's in Italy at the moment), Angelina in Miami, Maggie and RubberDoll in Ft. Lauderdale (but she is featuring elsewhere at the moment) and Kimber is in West Palm Beach. I offered all of them to come stay here if they need to evacuate, I think Kimber will come for sure, cause she wants to go to Nightmoves too...

It looks like the hurricane is moving west...taking it into central Florida. It will be a category 4 storm that will sit over the area for over 24 hours of constant wind. I'm thinking of climbing into the bathtub with some bourbon, a little weed, munchies, a good book, and the dog.

Damn Whitehat! I forgot you were in Orlando. Why don't you head to Tampa for the weekend? It will be better over here. Board up your house and take the dog with you! Come see me at fanfest too!

Latest update I'm seeing, still kind of looking like Miami might miss the worst of it and catch a glancing blow from the western edge of the storm. Probably lots of rain, but maybe minor damage.

Matthew came ashore in SC but was not close to me. Here I just got some rain and wind. A few trees were blown down and some folks lost power but that was about all here. Charleston is about 4 hours away. I did not have any trees blown in my neighborhood.

Enjoy each day we are not promised tomorrow!
Nothing but lots of rain and some downed trees here in the Raleigh area. The airport reported about 7 inches of rain Saturday, but Fayetteville and Goldsboro got over 16 inches of rain. Several friends still without power, but I never even had the lights flicker here. Big tree across one of the access roads to work, but it was cut up and mostly cleared away by the time I went in yesterday.
