Tried to go to bed at 9, but Fred would not let me. He must have found my drug stash because the little beggar was wired to the gills. Usually, he goes to bed before I do. But tonite, he wanted to play. Just as I would get to sleep, damn dog would get up, walk all over me, lick me in the face (I HATE that, ) and try to get me up. Somehow he finally got the idea and I got to sleep.

Got up to pee at 2:35, said "Happy New Year" and that was that.

My New Year consist of lots of friends and fine wine. I was great to chill out and talk about great memories of 2016. I did drink a lot of wine and ended up waking up at 4am. I couldn't fall back to sleep.. oh well! Still a great year and I think 2017 is going to be even better!!
