We had to turn the air conditioning on today, it was up to 80 in the house! Crazy it's only Feb.... but it sure was nice driving around in my vette today running my errands with the top down, my hair in the wind, blasting and singing "I'm burning for you" by Blue Oyster Cult!

6 inches of fresh snow fell last night into this morning, capped off with a nice 1/4" crust of freezing rain. Enough snow and ice to cancel my race league, apparently they could not get the snow mobile up to the start.

It's actually quite nice out now, sunny and approaching 32 degrees F. Clearing the car off this morning was a huge pain in the ass and I'll have an hour or two of shoveling after work.

Did you know that Rosa's Cantina is a real place? Over on the West side. Marty Robbins and his group drove thru here one day on the way west. They were struck by the atmosphere of El Paso and the west they were driving through. They stopped at Rosa's for lunch, ate, then drove on west. Marty wrote the basics of the song on a bag, I heard, then it finally became the song.
