Well for anyone who hasn't heard, I won the AVN award for most cars wrecked at an AVN show - 1. I went to Las Vegas and wrecked my Chevy the first night there. Long story. Rear ended a guy on the way home. The other guy wasn't hurt. He was driving a tank (large SUV) so his car wasn't hurt, except for the white Chevy paint flecks all over his bumper. Mine was easily drivable, so I finished the trip and drove it home to El Paso.

It didn't look all that bad, but I couldn't get the hood open, which bothered me a little. The insurance guy looked at it and gave me a number I was happy with. But, once the shop got the hood open and added a few more things, the insurance co. totaled it. And I was under water on it, meaning I owed about $5500 on it, and they only gave me $4,000. So I'll be paying on that for a while longer, lol.

Luckily, my nephews mother-in-law was selling a 2005 Honda Accord LX for $6,000. It has 95,000 miles on it, which is great mileage. Under hood is clean, no drips on the ground, so it's a really good deal. Overall the whole deal is going to cost me about $30 more a month, but maybe I can pay off the one loan this year, which will help things.

The Honda has 95,000 miles on it, which is less than 9,000 year. My 2008 Chevy had 95,000 on it when I bought it 4 years ago, 155,000 now. So that's 60,000 less on a car that's 3 years older than my old one.

Thanks. You don't realize how much you like your car until you go a couple weeks without one.

It's a tad smaller than my Chevy, meaning mainly a smaller back seat. But I seldom carry any bodies back there, so who cares, lol.
