So, when is a person an adult? 18? 21? And, what rights do you have before you are an adult? The government all ready restricts some things to people 21 years of age and older. A woman can legally have sex at 18, but can't legally drink a beer until she's 21. Many things that used to be restricted to age 21 are now allowed at 18. Where do we draw the line? And who gets to draw that line?

Seems to me that, if someone can legally have sex at age 18, (?) then how can you restrict the work they do? But, then, Texas has always had that "Bible Belt" mentality. Years ago, when Texas was partly wet, partly dry (alcohol sales,) you could go to a drive-in restaurant (like Sonic, for example,) and order a beer with your meal while you sat behind the wheel of your vehicle.

In "wet" counties, it required a special license to sell liquor in a club. It had to be a "members only" club. So, how did it work? You could drink liquor if you were a guest of a member. So, the bartender was the member. When you came in, he'd have you sign a Guest Card, and that made it legal for you to drink liquor there. Totally bogus.

So it's hard to figure out where Texas will go. Personally, they need to find something important to worry about. It is admirable to want to protect our children from the sleazy side of life (meaning those whose life's work is to take advantage of those too inexperienced to know how to protect themselves.) And I can see the mentality that says that a person of 18 years still does not have the life's experience to make some informed decisions about certain items. But again, where do you draw that line?

Worst thing is, WSJ, you can join the military and go off to die for your country at 18 -- but can't legally buy a beer.

EDIT: Actually, that's what you were saying. Maybe I should pay attention. :lmao:

That one I almost agree with... some of the girls are just too young to know what's up...
That being said can you legally deny someone the right to work?
... some sex work is the only way these girls can get out of abusive families too by the way...

I always said we would NEVER shoot with anyone under 21... but we shot with Bella Rose who was 19. She obviously wasn't a virgin and had been shooting tons and tons of stuff before us...
Girls are now experimenting with sex at earlier ages. It's not quite as prudish any more.
