You are right about the Fires of Pompey - other episode?

Sorry really hated Nardol - but , on reflection, its Matt Lucas I really despise - he is always the same (himself) in whatever series/show he is in. Totally irritating!

Highlight of the final Capaldi series was actually Sims as the Master (the bit where he bows out - avoiding spoiler - is really clever and true to the Master's character).

Anyone else watching the new Twin Peaks?

Last week was really interesting in the sense that David Lynch has been given creative authority to confuse the hell out of his audience.

I have George - it is now officially bat-shit crazy! :lost:
But I love it - I always felt quite unnerved by the ending of the original series where evil seemed to win.
Have you had the episode with the guy asking for a light yet?
Can't wait to see the next one!
Have you had "Fargo" over there? Series 3 is on here and is reasonable - why are all the psychopaths English? Series 1 with Billy Bob Thornton was excellent, Series 2 not so good.

Yeah that was the most recent one. The scene at the end sent shivers up my spine. Next episode comes out this Sunday, can't wait.

Haven't caught Fargo yet, that'll be on my list.

Glad we are on same page George - even if it's a weird page.
Fargo season 1 is really good and I recommend it - I would also like your take on the accents. Do they sound weird to you too?
No spoiler, but my favourite bit is where Billy Bob goes to the HQ of a crime firm to seek revenge!

One day I'll watch the Fargo film - I do like the other Coen brothers' films

By the way I'm also watching The X Files for the first time. Although it's pretty dated it's still good watching!

Also just remembered great show on Prime - The Hand of God, with the guy from Sons of Anarchy who plays a judge who believes he is having visions from God.
Well worth a watch

the only show on amazon that i have stuck with is Bosch
on Hulu i like Cardinal and Queen Sugar and i watch some old shows from Australia and England usually police shows i also use Hulu for some movies
Netflix is where i watch i bunch of the Marvel shows and then a bunch of the Netflix originals imported from Europe,Asia and Latin and South America plus various movies
the best thing about Netflix is once you have watched and rated shows for several years the shows that they start recommending for you come much closer to matching your tastes

And just started on Spike (another satellite channel here) a rerun of the A-team - I had never seen the first episode before last night!
I always wanted to be Murdoch - I still identify with him

The best series i seen in a long time is Outlander based on the author Diana Gabaldon. Its about a woman in the end of second world war, that is walking back in the th 1700- century. It takes place in Scotland so its also very beautiful views.
I can really recomend it.

The A Team was always fun to watch. Murdoch was the best one on the show. I like the original CSI series with Grisham as the main character. Fun how they come up proving the clues to the crimes!

I have to be honest and say that, for me now, a lot of the fun is the 80s clothes, bad stunts and fights. But Murdoch is still the BEST - the Napoleon t-shirt in the first episode (rip off of Magnificent Seven) is spot on!

I thought that was a curious sequence as well, along with the Johnny Horne scampering around his house, running himself headfirst into the wall. Everything is so disjointed in this series, even in the seemingly linear episodes, like #9.

Maybe he stepped into the Black Lodge and The Arm is talking through him? Fucked if I know really, and it's not like Lynch is going to spell it out for us either.
