Hey Connie - that is a well looked after garden - if ever you want an offshoot in the UK - you are welcome to landscape mine!
Here was certainly a sin worth sinning and I applied myself with characteristic vigour to its practice

I like good landscaping. Our original house here used to have nice grass and nice hedge. Dad put a lot of work into it, and now it just looks like crap.

Bridgit has had to give up her raw diet now that we are back in Texas for good. No more tundra junk. We have been miserable and staying inside. We have moved in with my brother because it is closer to school. He keeps his house at 79 F and we are use to 69 F even when we lived in Alaska. My guys get gain free suppose to be simple ingredient not sure how simple it is.

Bridgit got her DNA results back and it was very surprising:
25% Border Collie expected, but thought would be higher
25% Siberian Husky not expected but not surprising
12.5 % Australian Cattle Dog no surprise
12.5% Mixed Breed
25% Russell Terrier don't see it except may explain her psychotic behavior
This test only goes back 3 generations
Parent 1: Siberian Husky/Russell Terrier Cross
Parent 2: Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog Cross
Grandparent 1: Siberian Husky and Russell Terrier
Grandparent 2: Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Great Grandparent 1: Siberian Husky Siberian Husky and Russell Terrier Russell Terrier
Great Grandparent 2: Border Collie Border Collie and Australian Cattle dog Mixed dog Breed

I like the health issue testing part regarding the MDR1 mutation.

Thats fascinating! Hell of a mix!

I would find 79 hot too! Even in FL people keep thir houses at 76/77 to save money but you wouldnt believe just how much difference that couple of degrees makes in your comfort level. We keep the office at 74.

I guess i wont be making the bed this morning!

Fred likes to disappear under his blankets on the floor, especially in the winter, as I turn the temp down to 65° at night. Sometimes he'll come up on the bed, but generally doesn't stay. I think I rolled over on him once too often, lol.

Only the Russell Terrier really threw me. Four very intelligent breeds. I do not know much about Russell Terrier's except from Fraiser and Wishbone. 4 high strung breeds. I guess the wild dog comes from the Dingo that was breed with a herding dog to make the Australian Cattle dog.

The house is hot because of the commercial gas stove....six pilots burning all the time it gets warm. I have permission to sell it. Figure out how is the problem. The only time the stove is used when my mom is over and bro bowls water for his tea. I may get brave and cook something. We moved in with brother because I needed to establish county residency for the cheaper tuition. Plus he is 10 minutes from campus which I must be off to class now.

Has anyone's dog had ehrlichia canis? Indy tested positive, but blood work is normal we are thinking he caught it last summer and somehow while up in Alaska he was able to fight it. Does explain some joint issues.

A Jack Russell Terrier is not really a dog, Bridgit. It's a young wildcat wearing a dog suit.

Fred is getting along fine at my sisters. I thought about bringing him out here, but not for two weeks. The last time I brought him out here, Rocky, my son's German Shepherd (actually a small horse) like to drove Fred crazy, chasing him around and nipping at him. I didn't want Fred to have to endure that for two weeks, so I left him with Sis.

Sis is checking my mail every couple of days, and she takes Fred with her. She says that when she pulls into the trailer park, Fred starts going nuts. I'm sure he recognizes home, and probably thinks he's going to see daddy again, LOL. He always goes nuts when I've been gone a few days and come over to pick him up. I've never seen a dog jump 4 feet up a wall and bounce back off it again. LOL
