I am biased because Lisa Ann has been a bit cunty to Vicky over the years but I have to say I 100% disagree with Lisa Ann.. it IS easy to fail at porn. It's not just showing up. Sure you can make some movies but making a name for yourself takes a TON of hardwork, dedication and smarts.... and a bit of luck thrown in. Plenty of girls try.... plenty of girls fail. It's not easy to succeed at all. I also have to disagree with Janine who I like in general. I'd have to see the whole interview but bemoaning not saving money for the day you are no longer in porn is not porn's fault... Girls get in... don't take care of saving money... get shot out... and then cry when they aren't able to pay the bills. That's the same in every profession. If you don't plan ahead, you end up in trouble.

I watched the first documentary on NetFlix..fairly decent watching material. Rokkerr is bang on with his comments. I've been lucky enough to meet a lot of amazing people in this industry and have a pretty good grip on the ones who will be able to "make it" when the cameras turn off, or have the business sense to turn their focus to other money making ventures in or out of porn.

The ones who do make it are the hardest working, take their careers seriously, don't get taken advantage of, are independent, call their own shots, and know when to hang up the gloves.

I agree with every word. The worst examples of people squandering money are professional sports, where people sign large contracts and then proceed to live a lifestyle like they are going to earn that kind of money forever. Then a handful of years later they are out of the game and penniless.

OnlyFans is great if you just want interaction with one girl and one girl only... IF she interacts and posts, great... but if she doesn't there's no point following. I think the App is against the terms of service of Iphone so it might disappear in the middle of the night. Some girls don't want to be on their phones every single day as well. Solid traditional sites will always have a place....

... that being said, I do think that girls who are not a part of a network face a VERY uphill battle...

as for ManyVids... I honestly don't know too many girls making a lot of money there. I've asked a number of girls and they have not been too enthused. We might be shooting with a girl who is in the Top 10 so we are going to ask her.

There's just too damn many sites out there that the girls are posting on. I certainly understand it from the models point of view. But for me, even if they're free, I simply don't have the time to either belong to, or to visit every stinking site to follow whatever posts or pictures that models might be posting. If you're not careful, you could easily spend a couple hundred $$$ or more a month. So I am mainly a VNA member, and I do about 90% of my support here - even if the models don't come to the forum anymore. If they don't, I'll go to their cam shows and support them there. And sometimes get on Twitter. But not a lot.

Yep, $12.99 (or more) for one girl's pictures. I don't know how much of that the models get, but I still think it's quite steep, for one girl's site, for only a few pictures a month. Yes, some models post more than others, but, still, it's just a few pictures.
