Every Christmas season our local cable network from Dec 1st into the new year has "Holiday Yule Log TV" 24/7 of a damn fireplace burning wood including a dude who puts a log on the fire once in a while. It is immensely popular and people demand its return every year.

Hey Walter - I suspect that there are two possibilities for Blue Peter.
Firstly, there was (possibly still is) a kid's television (almost said TV) programme started in 1960s (when it was really popular) that may have given name to steam engine (made in 60s?). Other possibility - and train buffs would know better - is that this class of locomotives were Called Merchant class and had nautical themed names - Blue Peter is a flag flown by a ship - again I think when it enters port.
I am relieved I'm not too sure about all this - confirms I do have some sort of life!
I suspect any semen (pun intended) out there will let you know the truth
And for our Brit friends of a certain age - "Get down Shep"
