A milf in Mexico!

I have so much I want to share! So many great pics and stories but the internet has been so scarce here I keep losing it after typing everything! So the bulk of it will hv to wait! Just wanted to say it is sooooooo beautiful! Hawaii has nothing on this place! The Mayan jungle with the entertaining iguanas, the ruins, the beaches and cliffs, rivers, ceynotes, foliage, birds, I could go on and on! I don't want to go home tomorrow! Ill be back!

The stories of the Maya and Inca always fascinate me. They're talking now about an entire Mayan city located underneath the jungle cover in Guatemala. As many as 10 million people may have lived there.

Me too Walt! I always watch when there are documentaries about the Mayan people. It is so astonishing the many things they knew about and how thy could build like they did. They were an amazing people.

Tulum must be the most beautiful place I have ever seen! Its the only Mayan civilization built on the coast. We met lots of guides who told us all the stuff you see on tv is wrong!

Well, so much for my post, LOL. I don't really believe that the program I saw (it was about the Mayan Snake Kings) was wrong, because they took an aerial LIDAR survey of the area. The LIDAR removed all of the vegetation and showed what was underneath, which is what revealed all of the buildings/roads, etc.

Then a couple of archaeologists flew to the area and spent hours hacking their way into the area. They carried a portable LIDAR unit which helped them see through the undergrowth. They found the pyramid they were looking for and were able to go inside. It will, of course, take many years to clear and excavate the area.

There is an entire civilization located in Mexico from the early A.D years. No one really knows where they all went. It's like they really did all just go somewhere, and the last one out "turned off the lights."

I'm looking forward to hearing all about your trip Vicky. I've never been a big Mexico fan just because the airports there are a real pain in the azz, but you can't beat the country for beauty and culture...All they need is a big-azzed wall to keep all that stuff in.

I'm glad we went when we went, and we won't be going back anytime soon! There has been a lot of craziness down there lately and they have put out warnings to tourists advising them not to go!
