I love the quote, "“We’ve given serious thought to who we want to be to our community moving forward." Like we're some kind of taint on humanity because we like porn, LOL. Oh well, no longer any reason to visit Tumblr, I guess.

But at the sametime, I don't or didn't use tumblr much, and I wonder how much content promotion or sales has anyone gotten from Tumblr.

And side note: Nazi content is apparently ok there, as they have said nothing about that

I heard about this on twitter and if tumblr wants to ban adult content well I say fuck them then because there's more worst stuff out there thats more harmful and they're worrying about porn. "Nice job tumblr" fucking dumbasses.

I used to have a tumblr account a long time ago, yet abandoned it for other venues. This makes for a good excuse for me to import my old posts to my self-hosted WordPress blog and then delete tumblr for good.

This all started because tumblr allowed porn spambots and some questionable child porn to infiltrate them for far too long without action; then, when ApplePay Store denied them the use of their store to sell their iOS app, they overreacted. Plus, there's the aftereffects of the FOSTA and SESTA laws using "sex trafficking" to neuter porn and sex worker content.

Let them go the way of MySpace....OnlyFans/PremiumSnapchat/OnlyVids/self-hosted websites is the way to go now for posting and legally monetizing adult content.
