LAS VEGAS (TNA) – Porn actress Ava Devine is getting her undies in a bunch these days – but it’s not as bad as it sounds.
That’s because the undies in question were ripped off Devine’s fans by the actress herself during the recent AVN Expo in Las Vegas.
Now, she is taking the purloined panties and stitching them together into a quilt she will auction off on her Web site, with proceeds going to HIV research.
Devine, who signed for Naughty America at the Expo, estimates she has as many as 50 pairs of male underwear in her possession, mostly boxers, and says blue seems to be the most popular color for guys these days.
“Some of the undies are striped. Some are plaid. There’s one that’s army print and a green pair with football helmets,†she said.
Devine says her underwear collection developed organically from her love of the male sex organ.
“I have this obsession with the penis, and touching it,†she said. “But at the convention, you can only get away with so much. I like to slide my hand into the pants and pull the cock out.
“Some guys wear boxers; others are freeballing it, but I get so excited tugging the dicks that I tug the underwear out of frustration.â€
Devine says boxers are easier than briefs when it comes to ripping, but says it’s not the underwear that turns her on as much as what it’s covering.
“I find the male genitalia extremely exciting, whether it’s in boxers, briefs or commando,†she said.
Although Devine’s underwear-ripping has made her very, very popular at adult fan conventions, she admits that not every guy is thrilled to have her ripping off his underwear in public.
“Many guys object,†she lamented. “Some are a little upset. I try to tell them that it’s all in good fun.â€
She also tells them to look on the bright side and appreciate that a porn star wants to rifle through their pants.
“I’m good at reading body language,†she said. “I don’t want a guy half-smiling. I want him fully smiling and laughing.â€
Luckily, she is getting fewer and fewer complaints since she announced that all the underwear she collects will be turned into a charity quilt.
Interestingly, while Devine is one of the most popular porn actresses among female fans she hasn’t taken advantage of that by ripping panties off her female friends.
“I’ve ripped a few shirts, but it’s harder for women to walk around with ripped clothes because of certain body parts – plus, they’re more sensitive.â€
Devine says her hobby of collecting underwear has resulted in lots of new fans, and some of them even want her to rip off their underwear when they meet her in public. Alas, she usually declines because she prefers to do it “in a controlled environment.â€
Devine doesn’t know when her quilt will be finished – and admits she has to learn how to sew first – but hopes to fulfill another dream soon by ripping off the underwear of a male co-star in one of her porn scenes.
“I haven’t done it on camera yet,†she said. “I hope to do it, but sometimes ripping off underwear is a struggle and, if it’s on camera, I want it to flow smoothly."
