Just a matter of personal taste. I like my sci-fi more star trek than star wars (though I always liked the star trek tv shows more than any of the movies). More Isaac Asimov than EE "Doc" Smith.

I'll see it. Want to see how they end it. Supposed to be the final film of the Skywalker saga. The original 3 are still the best.

I'm excited for it. I'm a bit of a Star Wars nerd. Admittedly, the prequels are a letdown, but I still went to see them in the theater when they came out. The original trilogy is still the best but I've enjoyed all the new trilogy and the stand alone (especially Rogue One) films of the past few years. I'll be there and I can't wait to see how all the loose ends get tied up in this one!
