yeah, my last laptop had one 512gb, and this one has one but it's 256 gb, so upgrading to 1tb. It's nice when you fire it up and loads in no time at all where the old hard drives took longer.

Yeah it's a great feeling. So my laptop has 1 ssd by 512 gb and 1 hard disk by 1 tb, processor i7 6th genearation ,and despite has almost 4 years is really incredible for how much is stll fast. I use for all but much for the games, also if don't a really pc games, and it holds games that are quite heavy from a graphic point of view, obviously not max of particular and resolution. So my dream is assembly by me a pc only for the games in a future.

Not a bad way to go. I've been tinkering with my PC's since '95, the one I'm using today I built in 2012 for gaming and up until recently I was still using most of the original build.

I was thinking of doing something like that too Lance! I do have a good sized yard, but anything I plant like that will be devoured by the rabbits! They are everywhere!

If it's not the rabbits it's the dogs lol... They will either dig it up or pee all over them! I just have to find the time to take care of them! I tried some herbs recently and I always forgot to water them!

Yup, wascally wabbits were my problem too. One year I had a good mix of veggies coming along nicely and then the wabbits found it and the next morning the only thing left was the tomatoes. Apparently wabbits don't like tomato plants.

I will keep you posted on how it works out.

I've had a number of PCs with SSD's. I wouldn't say "fantastic". The main benefit I see is the reduced weight. But then, I don't use my PCs for anything computationally or graphically intensive.

(Watching Vicky perform is intense, not intensive, ~smile).

This is reason because i love pc compared to the console, u can custom how u want according to your needs, and this way sometimes is more advantageous to a preassembly pc.

Remember AT&T Lily?

.
In reality, she's even more exciting than she was in that AT&T suit. Built pretty nice, too.

I don't care for her latest commercials. I hope they find something better for her. Her AT&T commercials were cool.

I'm going full nerd mode and bought a game book, didn't know they still exist. Got it in the mail today. It's similar to old text adventure games.

Similar to text adventure games? So is it like a 'choose your path' book?

I have been enjoying role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons with friends for over 40 years now. Almost all of my longest lasting friendships are from gaming of one sort or another. So when someone says they bought a game book, my ears perk up.

Yes, it's a "choose your path" book.
Despite its title "Metal heroes and the fate of rock" it's not available in English☹️.
I bought it because I liked the story: the God of rock wants to retire. Cliché metal-fan Taylor has to prove he is a worthy successor by making a talentless garage-band the top act of the planet and thereby saving the world with metal.

I remember books like and stuff like that Liz. I had few pick the adventure. I think one I had was GI Joe one, I tried always going back seeing what if I took a different turn to see what happened it was fun, except the endings that were short or stunk if you picked wrong lol

To celebrate I... stayed home, just like every other damned day since the beginning of March. :lmao:

Well, Congratulations on that, Davest. I remember my last day. There was a quick twinge when I drove thru the gate for the last time, but by the time I got home, it was like, "Well, I"ll be damned. I don't have to go to work tomorrow," lol.

I immediately started making plans for the future and off I went. I hope your future goes well and that maybe you can get some traveling in. I've always loved to travel.
