A summary of the “Safer at Home” Health Directive is below:

During the four weeks from December 26, 2020, to January 22, 2021, residents of Shelby County are asked to remain home as much as possible.
Retail capacity decreased to 50%
Indoor dining capacity at 25%
Gyms and fitness facilities capacity decreased to 50%, including staff
Social activities related to entertainment and recreation should be curtailed because they expose everyone to unnecessary risks of spreading COVID-19. This would include, for example, indoor receptions, parties, or events that are not related to places of worship, weddings, and funerals.
Health Directive No. 16 includes certain restrictions on gatherings and sporting events in Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Order 70. All gatherings, including wedding receptions, will be limited to 10 or fewer people.
Health Directive No. 16 strongly encourages employers to allow non-essential employees to work remotely (where feasible).
All previously approved events that were to occur during the effective dates of this “Safer at Home” should reschedule their event or contact the Health Department to determine whether their event may still proceed.
Businesses that provide goods or services exclusively through curbside service and pickup, drive-thru, shipment, delivery, or virtually may continue.
Certain listed businesses, including some that provide services to customers onsite, may continue to operate (see number 9 beginning on page 4).
Due to the risk of viral transmission, Health Directive No. 16 strongly discourages any on-site dining.
All safety measures for individuals, services, and businesses that were in the previous Health Directive No. 15 will continue under the new Health Directive No. 16.
The Health Department also released today Face Mask Directive No. 4, which:

· Clarifies that masks are required in gyms and fitness facilities unless a customer has a medical condition that prevents him/her from wearing a mask, and if that is the case, a face shield is required.

· Clarifies that language for dining experiences to require a mask unless a customer is “seated and dining (eating/drinking).”

Saw where one airline has agreed to stop flights into New York, and discussions are 'ongoing' with others. The article didn't say anything about flights to other cities. This was just Gov. Cuomo talking to BOAC about flights to New York. It is not a ban, it is only an agreement between Gov. Cuomo and BOAC (I believe.) I believe that only the FAA can actually ban flights.

That will probably help New York, but nowhere else unless all flights are stopped. I believe they're setting up plans to require documentation of a negative test in order to fly. There again, it won't be much if everyone doesn't step up and cooperate.

Just read today that the death rate from Covid in the U.S. has reached 1 person out of every 1000 people. Unbelievable, 1 American out of every 1000 has died from this

yep. here in Tennessee they said 1 in 8 people have Covid, actually the worst place in the World for the infection rate, that's really sad. like I said it's sad that the virus was turned into a political issue when it should never had been

FSC says to pause all filming to help get the numbers down in Southern California

Yep its the first time FSC has ever asked to shut down due to Corona virus. Public Health Dept asked everyone to.

FSC is asking adult film producers in the Los Angeles area to consider a voluntary production pause in order to help mitigate surging coronavirus cases and hospitalizations in Southern California. The call aligns with the request made by the Department of Public Health on Monday of all film producers in the country.

Additionally, the Department of Public Health has issued a mandatory 10-day quarantine period for those who have traveled outside of Los Angeles County. All producers should avoid production-related travel, or working with those who have recently traveled.

“While our industry has led the way in regards to safety protections and protocols, daily infections are now more than four times what they were during the summer peak, and area hospitals are overwhelmed,” said Michelle L. LeBlanc, FSC Executive Director. “We all need to do what we can to limit the spread, both within our industry and the community at large.”
