Buddy of mine got his first shot today (high school teacher). Said his arm hurts like hell tonight. But he's still glad he is getting the vaccine.

One state here ruled that you have to wear a FFP2 mask (I think it's N95 in the US) when using public transportation or when you go shopping. The masks are either out of stock or super expensive.

Well, that was a big nothing. For the shot, I felt nothing. About 3 hours later, felt a little muscle pain right where I got the shot. This morning I was feeling enough muscle pain to take an Advil, which seems to have handled it.

No other issues, tho. Nothing at all.

Thanks, folks. If you get the chance, my vote is to get one. But, if you don't want to, don't. According to the news, a lot of people are having a lot of trouble getting their shots.

Was talking to my uncle(who works for Pfizer) about this, that probably it will become just like having to get a flu shot and the other shots, that this stuff will be with us for a long time

I wonder how that will work when the vaccine stops being free and people have to pay for the shots Particularly in the US where there isn't universal health care. Will this result in stratum of society where covid continues to circulate while the rest of the population is vaccinated?
