i have been having an issue with semantics lately....

i am not ashamed at all to say that all the people i follow on twitter is entirely porn people and i am fortunate on occasion to have a few conversations with them because they know i support them and don't judge them

and in all this time there is one thing i always always have trouble coming to terms with..and my logical part of my brain says to me its just words to describe the same thing...semantics if you will..but it itches the fuck out of my brain

when you talk to any porn person..male or female...they always always say..because i think they learn this in porn school i see you laughing...but they always always say they make content instead of make porn

i guess i don't understand why saying making porn is so bad...my best guess is making content implies its a job and content is another way to say product..like a factory making millions of doughnuts..something that you mentally say to justify something or keep it at arms length

i have zero problem saying making porn but i suppose others do

i understand that at the end of the day porn is about making money.....trust me i have given a lot of my money to porn...sometimes i think i should be a member of AVN because of the money i give lol

im not upset or have an issue with the money part of it

but here is the thing that bothers me.....sex and porn should be fun....and once you start using content to describe a job...then it kind of takes away the fun part

its kinda like sports....most sports start at the kid level...baseball soccer hockey etc etc...and it is at that level where sports is at its most pure...when adults play those games the game loses the fun factor money ruins everything..and people start getting unions and rules and rules

i guess my point is porn should be fun and sexy and filthy and dirty and it should be fun :)

so i will continue to say make porn and not make content....the adult industry can not fire me because i pay them so im basically their boss...the only difference between me and them is they get millions of dollars and a health and dental plan and i get nothing...but im their bosses and they have nothing to bitch about

so as their boss im saying lets make porn and not content

they should be getting royalties and they should get health and dental and a 401k retirement plan and maternity and paternity leave...there are a lot of things that need to be fixed..i think we should be like scandanavia...yes they are not perfect but they have a lot of things we don't have....and we call ourselves the best country on earth

NASA just went to mars...why can't the smartest people help with all the problems on earth...and the cold hard truth is money...businesses want to make profit and not lose it to pesky health insurance

there has to be a better way to run the fucking world and they need to do that by checking their ego at the door for starters

i think the solution is we need to forget the big picture of corporate america because corporate america is fucked beyond repair

and in this case personally maybe we achieved true pure porn...meaning yes money is good to a point it buys food and sex toys....but what we have at VNA are real people who like and care for each other....and yes im going to use the taboo L word...we love each other

and i know for me personally porn is very healthy for me and you vicky see the best in people...and i know you do that with me and i love naked women with dirty porn brains

In most countries, porn workers would at least have access to government funded health services. Only in America...

And I'm guessing that if porn workers did try to buy private insurance, they would be classified as high risk because of the nature of their work.

Yeah even though now the testing protocol is every 2 weeks. Used to be 30 days. The tests we use are far superior to the tests you would get at your local dr.s office or health department. The chance of hiv transmission is far greater in the general public, going to a bar and having sex with someone, than it is on a pornset.

That's one reason why I am not looking for a date or relationship! Porn people are tested better than anybody else. I am so thankful for the toys that have been created plus fingers work well too!

People make content instead of porn because the US is still a sexually backwards country that perpetuates a culture of shame around the subject of sex. So sex is seen as shameful and porn is seen as 'bad' despite the fact that most people watch porn and have sex.

The lack of universal health care in the US is because, for some reason, we still believe in capitalism. We believe capitalism will make us rich (despite evidence to the contrary), so the few who truly are rich can kill anything that doesn't directly benefit them by calling it socialism.
