Make sense I guess? I had no idea I never really look into it, but I did hear that lyft does not use surge pricing it's just constant.

I drove for Uber for awhile. They were still fairly new and their systems weren't working right. Because of the issues, they didn't pay me all that they owed me. So I quit.

I don't n get into raising prices when times get tough. To me, that's just stealing from the public. In this instance, selling all of your cars is not justification on raising the prices on the one you got left. Especially by 600%.

A search of car rental sites Wednesday showed a Kia Rio, a sub-compact car, going for $300 a day in Orlando, next week. On Maui, Hawaii, the only rental available next week is a Yukon for $500 a day.
Not sure if I'd be seen driving a Kia - even for $300 a day!!!
Here was certainly a sin worth sinning and I applied myself with characteristic vigour to its practice

I drove one once for a few days in LA. Lets just say the commercials are better than the cars.

I think this is what's called unfettered capitalism.

One of the minor likeable things about those Peugeot 404s we drove in Africa. The petrol filler was behind the rear licence plate, slap bang in the middle of the car. Never had to worry about which side of the pump to pull up to.

Unknown Secrets: Did you know?

Next to the gas pump icon on your dash board there is a small arrow pointing left or right. The side it is on and the way it is pointing indicates where your gas filler is. I don't know if it's universal. Would be most handy for rental cars, I would think.

Used to be some cars over here in the '60's that had center fillers.
