The quality of spanking is not strained
It droppeth as the gentle hand from above
Upon the bottom beneath. It is twice blest
It blesseth her that gives and him that takes
Is this what you were thinking, Walt?
The quality of spanking is not strained

Now I understand. I already have all those symptoms!PeterL22 wrote: ↑May 5th, 2021, 7:27 am For all those who are about to have (or who have very recently had) their Covid immunisations, like all medicines, immunisations can cause side effects.
Symptoms to watch out for over the next few days are:
1/ Bouts of extreme smugness.
2/ Sense of superiority over anyone who hasn't had a vaccine.
3/ Absurd curiosity over whether your friends have had Astrazeneca or Pfizer.
4/ A need to tell everybody how short the queue was and how smashing all the volunteers are.
5/ Compelling desire too take a photo of your immunisation card and post it on social media.
6/ Misguided feeling of immortality.
7/ Failure to understand why you still can't go on a foreign holiday.
8/ Ability to annoy the hell out of 20-year olds by asking, "When are you going to have yours ..... Oh they've run out have they?"
Note that this is based on UL studies and there may be differences in the USA
I was wondering that as I read your post.PeterL22 wrote: ↑May 5th, 2021, 7:27 am My son and daughter-in-law live over the Pond - in Maryland.
They have both had their 2 jabs - US has it right and go by the licence to give both within 28 days (as opposed to UK where Boris has decided to get as many people jabbed once by giving an in serval of up to 12 weeks!).
My point is that the lady had hers at a "drive-thru" site - she arrived in the car and was waiting to be told where to park when the person knocked on her window and asked "Which arm?", and jabbed her there and then.
My only question is how would they have got at her right arm if she opted for that? - think about it!
The driving thing is odd - I have had 1st dose of AZ and the specific instructions (by manufacturers) is wait at least 15 mins before driving.lance_s wrote: ↑May 6th, 2021, 7:39 amI was wondering that as I read your post.PeterL22 wrote: ↑May 5th, 2021, 7:27 am My son and daughter-in-law live over the Pond - in Maryland.

Mine wasn't a drive thru, but it was very efficient. And they made us wait 15 minutes after the jab before we can leave the clinic, which would not be practical in the drive thru model.
But the next shot isn't till August - by when presumably there will be a new batch of variants to worry about.
I don't know of him either. But what's happening now in India is totally due to human idiocy. If a private company made the same bad decisions politicians are making, the entire board of directors would be convicted of culpable negligence.stickyvicky wrote: ↑May 10th, 2021, 1:30 pm I didn't know this guy, but apparently very famous in India? Only 35. What a shame. He tested positive for Coronavirus and was dead 5 days later. He knew he was going to die.

I hope the 30-40 year old age group who insist they don't need vaccines because it doesn't hurt them, takes heed of this? Unreal.
w00t! Hope any reactions are mild ones.
