Have you guys seen all of the brouhaha over Steve Holmes walking off set when he was booked to do a GGA for Evil Angel and when he got to set one of the girls had a penis. He said I'm sorry you should have told me this was who you hired, I don't do that period. And he left.

Now the Internet is blowing up making him into a monster. Some people even suggesting to boycott him and that he should never work again..

The whole thing is evil angels fault? How did you think you could slip that by? Maybe he wouldn't notice the penis haha?

I am not saying his decision is right or wrong I am saying that is his decision. It's a question of rights? It's our bodies and our lives? Don't we have the right to choose who we want to work with?

Of course it's his choice to say "stop" at any point of production. The way I understand it, it's more about the way he handled it than about the decision itself.
He could've simply said, "Hey, it's been a misunderstanding, I'm not up for this type of scene". Instead he insults her by telling her that she was misleading everyone and calls her "a dude". And he makes it worse in the replies he posted.
A lot of the comments against him are way out of line, but I honestly think that it's a good thing that a lot of performers/fans are standing up for her.

I just remember my days on set, when my agent knew that I didn't do ass to mouth, and I would get on set and they would tell me the scene required ass to mouth, thinking that if they put pressure on me I would cave and do what I didn't want to do. I didn't and I was hated by some, and removed from some Box covers because of it.

I remember one day in particular, the director said that I was just being difficult, and he would never hire me again, The other girl who was in the scene with me told me I was just being a bitch, And she sucked the Dick when it came out of my ass To prove a point, Even when I didn't want to, They edited the scene to make it look like I waz doing ATM, And there are 5 or 6 girls total in that movie and every single girl is on the Front Box cover except for me. No picture anywhere and barely a mention.

I just don't understand why this industry has to force everyone to do with they don't want to do. Why can't they leave people the fuck alone and let them do what they want.

Girls are driven to drink and do drugs because they are forced into doing what they don't want to do.

I remember a girl on set at 7:30 a.m. taking vicodin and drinking vodka so that she could go through with our BGGA. I asked her why she was doing it if she didn't like it, and she said she needed to pay her rent, and her agent was forcing her to do it and he said he wouldn't book her other scenes unless she did these as well. It made me very sad.

August Ames committed suicide because she was bullied and insulted and belittled after putting someone on her no list.

It's our body, our life, why can't we decide what we want to do or not do?

I don't find dude to be insulting word? Maybe it is in those circles? I don't know im not really in that world, He could have said a whole lot more insulting things if he wanted to. I think he was probably just aggravated over all of it and the whole mess that it turned into. It was all just so unnecessary?

I have worked with him several times, He has fucked my ass lots and made me come lots! I have never had a bad experience with him!

Wow, those are horrible stories, I'm sorry that you and others were treated this way.
It should be all about respect, respecting each other's boundaries but respecting each other's feelings as well!
Of course you could argue that people just need to toughen up, but I can imagine that Aubrey Kate and other performers and trans people in general are super sick of being treated like just being "a girl with a dick" and she wasn't pretending to be someone else. She's a well known performer and that he's apparently incapable of googling her before working with her, totally not her fault.

I don't think he should have to Google someone in depth? He was booked for a GGA. A girl-girl-anal scene. Why would he expect that anything other than 2 girls would be in the scene with him? He said he looked at her social media and saw her picture, and saw a pretty girl and saw no reason to keep researching?

I only know what I saw on social media. As I said, I think he handled the situation in a very disrespectful way. Of course he could've done worse. He also could've done better though. You know him and thankfully had a good experience. That doesn't mean that he doesn't treat other people bad. Or maybe he's a cool guy.
This is more about personal opinions than it is about facts. Of course he did nothing that's against the law or something.
Everyone projects their own experiences and feelings into situations like this (including myself), that's why discussions get heated so quickly.

If Steve had just said no, it would have been way better than calling her a dude and saying she 'pretended to be a girl.' That kind of insensitivity and lack of respect is uncalled for. I'm glad to see trans scenes and performers becoming more mainstream, but it's still on the production company for mislabeling the scene.

But as for stating a preference, you're absolutely right; there's nothing wrong with that. It was, as you noted, the same kind of Internet Dogpile that led to August Ames' suicide.

I do agree that he could have phrased it better. When you are under pressure and feel like you are being forced or tricked into doing something, and are stressed, things come out all wrong. Plus he probably didn't mean to insult her, he probably didn't even realize that his words were insulting at the time. God knows I've said a lot of stupid things in my life and insulted people without meaning to.

That's right, Vicky. When we're under stress, there's no telling what we might say. The stress of a situation can really contort your brain.

In this situation. I would probably be a little distraught, too. Somebody dropped the ball, and it wasn't the performer.
