Hi Vick the Lick,
Good for you!!!! - Go get him - as I love the retaliation... :) :) :) ... Heehee!! He opened a can of worms, and I'm the fish and took the bait...
Sorry I had to do THAT to you... A big grin!! - but as a bystander I had to finish off Rokkerr's thought...
Allright England vs. Scotland all over again -
Yes, there was "Bravehart" and William Wallace in the Middle Ages. He was drawn and quartered, by the way, as well as being beheaded...Then they took his head, arms, legs, and torso and buried them all over England.. Why? So this way, he couldn't be put together and then be martyred by the Church of Rome. .. A true story..
Then this, another tidbit in history...
Once upon a time there lived a queen of England, Elizabeth I (Tudor family and Protestant) and another queen, Mary Queen of Scots (Stuart family and Catholic) who were first cousins to each other. Of course, Elizabeth had her cousin Mary put to death by beheading as well in the Tower of London....
Let's hope Scotland wins this time..
I'll see you at the peacetalks in Paris, France - as don't they have them all over there?
It's too bad I'm not Irish... as that would be even better.. ... a laugh riot...lol

PS - Nice "Avatar" btw, it's much better!! An even bigger grin...

Chill guys..... there is nothing but love for the Scots...... one of my truly favorite countries in the world. I went to Edinburgh and on the street someone asked me if I needed help (for no reason other than I looked lost). In Los Angeles I would have been robbed, where we live in England I would have been ignored as just another depressed guy..... but in Scotland, in the howling wind, complete strangers are just as friendly as they can be. Vicky and I were going to take an overnight train up there but just ran out of time...... Vick, if we make it up there one day I will let you know..... which Scottish castle lavatories need some attention from Vicky and Rokker??? On a final note, we were in Copenhagen last month and the Celtic fans were all in the pubs singing their heads off!!!

Ahh good man Rokker, you know it makes sense!
I'll get my castle guidebook out and recommend a few for ya. LOL sounds like you had a great experience of the Celtic fans then...loud, noisy and probably intimidating if you've never seen them before - but just out for a great time. Bit like you and Vicky.. :P :P

You are so right Rockker, the Scotts are some of the nicest people. My wife was a direct descenden of Scottland and when were there everyone there would go out of their way to be helpful. Her great great Grand Mother was from Blair Atholl, a beautiful quaint little village with one hotel; "Glen Tilt" it has 28 rooms , a nice little resturant that serves the best Salmon from the river Tilt. It is over 100 years old. Our three days there looking for my wife ancestors was one of the most memorable times in our lives.

All this Scottish love is great!
Donor - Blair Atholl is a lovely place. No wonder you had a great time there. Scottish Salmon is where it's at...I was out at a really nice hotel the other night and had the best salmon of my life (hot and flaky and melts in your mouth mmm yes!)
Seriously Vicky, you and Rokker really should head here sometime. And I'm not just saying that as a biased member of the country lol. Some of our scenery is amazing. This is pretty much the view from my front window (well, it's a 2 minute walk from my house, so it's good enough!) Fantastic or what? 8)

Is it true that Scottish men wear absolutely nothing under their kilts? I'm going there just to find that out!

A bunch of us went into a club once in our kilts and regretted it - these girls started lifting them up to see what we had underneath. I thought there was gonna be a riot! I'm not sure their boyfriends were too happy either...

Hey, Vick, - I notice you didn't tell us what the girls found, huh? huh? Are you brave enough to go 'commando?'
I've streaked before, but not sure I could just stand around at the old neighborhood pub (do you call them Pubs in Scotland?) in a kilt with old Winston just "flapping in the breeze."
