"Why do fools fall in love?"... Remember that song by the Diamonds? A smile from me to you!!!

Allright, today is the day for practical jokes, laughter and guffaws to be played on one another!! ...

What has been the worst joke ever played on you?

Or

What has been the worst joke that you've ever played on someone else?

Thoughts and comments?

Hi Walter,

My being from New York and all didn't faze you one bit...Very Good!!!!

... and you didn't fall into my trap of quicksand!! .. :D... Anyway, you are right!!! ....

The Teenagers hit # 1 on the R & B charts (#6 on the pop charts) in March 1956 with Why to Fools Fall in Love...

...The Diamonds later rendition of the Teenagers' classic version of Why Do Fools.. in late October 1956 only hit # 16 on the pop charts.

[By the way, The Diamonds biggest hits were in 1957 with Little Darlin' which hit # 2, and The Stroll which hit # 9.]

...Other musicians to record the song, Why do Fools Fall in Love, and have hits with it - The Happenings in 1967 and Diana Ross in 1981. And even the Beach Boys have used some of the lyrics in a song that they recorded as "Why Do Fools Fall in Love"

But Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers' version of it remains the classic one!!!
