It's not that complicated. Why don't they just ask the users what happened? Just like Camz, they had a platform that was working great, then they decided to "fix it", well it flopped. Instead of reacting to users, and going back to the old ways, or trying something else, they pigheadedly left it like that, while everyone went to Facebook instead, then of course Twitter came in and put the final nail in their coffin. Moral of the story, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
:yeahbaby: Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

I liked Myspace and I agree, instead of trying to copy FB, they should have just left it "as is", or as you said ask the users what they would like to see..?

I think the biggest diference was however FB is much easier to use, and when your 54 year old sister got on FB it spread like crazy.

FB is getting old now, and something else will take it's place...

I think the future will be in hand held devices - iPad's and such...

as I type this on my iPhone while watching Casey Anthony get off murder charges....

Myspace has been sold...... it went from a value of like $650 million to just being sold off for $30 million
I still think someone is going to take all that date (ie your data) and make it into something cool one day... we shall see...
