These Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders make like $50 a game or an appearance - it's not a full-time job - would you delete your Twitter account over this or tell them to "got to hell" - get fired and run with the 15 minutes of fame?

No such thing as free speech really......

That's a bit harsh, from what I could read, her 2 tweets were in good nature, nothing malicious that I could see?

And yeah, she's a hottie all right! :Idhitthat: :icon_jiggle:

That is such BS. It would've been a great PR story for the Cowboys but now they look like idiots.

I agree 100% with Benny and Don here. Well, I do know that the Dallas Cowboys players are not allowed to socialize with the cheerleaders at all, at any charity events, etc. outside of the contexts of game time situations. However, professional teams today regardless of the sport, do not really allow any comments to be made, good or bad, with relation to Tweeting. My cases in point, Ozzie Guillen's son while working in the Chicago White Sox front office. He was forced to resign from his White Sox position over his Tweets. Then several players for the Florida Marlins have been fined by MLB for tweeting. And as for NBA players, such as Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat have been fined by the team after the Heat was fined by NBA comissioner, David Stern over comments he made before Lebron James was signed. Yes it's tough, but put in the perspective of the teams in professional sports today. Today, there is really a no tolerance policy because teams do not want to be brought into the spotlight; good or bad in relation to their employee's tweets. And lastly, at least, Ms. Kellerman wasn't fired here because of it.

Couldn't find the video in the link above, but found it here. http://www.nesn.com/2011/11/dallas-chee ... count.html

I saw that, thought it was funny, once she got up unhurt. But, like it or not, I think John is right. Corporations can be sued over employees comments. So, it is understandable from the company POV that their employees say nothing related to the employer. And the DCC go to great efforts to keep their image squeaky clean, regardless of the fact that I'd do that director, Kelly Finglass, in a heartbeat, a true MILF!

Want a big thrill? Watch DCC Training Camp on CMT. New episodes air Fridays 10 PM Eastern, with repeats on Sunday. They've been making these shows for 6 years now.

They probably didn't, Rob. The Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are basically two separate organizations. I would guess that the Football team might have some small say in an extreme event, but basically, the DCC are their own entity. They like to run a squeaky-clean operation and image. I mean, look at what some of the players get away with.

Having said that, I'd still do that Kelly Finglass, just because I know she'd be so freakin' good!

So she deleted her account because she was overwhelmed with tweets but she changed her mind a few days later?
Sounds like BS to me. :wtf:

What do you call that Benny - putting a new spin on things?

Sounds to me the team/cheerleaders (as Walt says) had an about face as this was on the front page of Yahoo....

It was hard for me to understand why the DCC would ask her to delete her account, but the story makes sense now, if a reporter got it wrong in the first place. And, in his defense, he could have been fed bad information. Everyone knows that news organizations, in their rush to "be the first to break the story," will report whatever they can, facts be damned.

It makes sense to me, Benny. Given the nature of Twitter, I can imagine how her account could have been "overwhelmed." But, it's nice to know that the DCC didn't force her to delete it.
