Clint Eastwoods first TV appearance, Rawhide, is coming out on DVD (one season, I think,) if you're interested. Several months ago I bought a "Wanted, Dead Or Alive" series, 5 or 6 DVD's. This was Steve McQueens premier TV show. I just love it. Watching the fights is so funny, to see the state of the art, vs what it is today.
No, Vicky dear, we haven't forgotten you. And, Rokker, don't get all het up because we're turning Vicky's forum into a TV forum   . We're trying to keep ourselves occupied until the Viking Vixen is ready to shower us with pussy juice once again.    Right, John???

That's right, Walter - we are keeping ourselves occupied while Vicky is on the mend. Get well soon, my lovely!!! Also I don't think Dave would be too upset as we did make this posting and related threads in the Everything Else section...Anyway Encore, in answer to the John Wayne post - is a group of channels in the tri-state area (NY, NJ and CT) along with HBO, Starz, Cinemax and Showtime. Encore Westerns is a offshoot of Encore .
By the way, The Magificent Seven - My alltime favorite Western movie. That had Yul Brynner, Steve McQeeen, James Coburn, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter, Horst Buchhorst and Eli Wallach. Followed closely by The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly with Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach. So Clint Eastwood and Steve McQueen are tied together through Eli Wallach too.
Yes, so see if you can watch the Clint Eastwood Western movie marathon on Thursday as that would be good.
Have a nice Memorial Day tomorrow, if we don't talk.
I always loved Steve McQueen - from the first movie I remember him in... 1958's The Blob to The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Cincinnati Kid, The Sand Pepples, The Thomas Crown Affair, , Bullitt, LeMans, The Getaway, Papillon, The Towering Inferno, ... to his last... 1979's The HunterWalterB wrote:...Several months ago I bought a "Wanted, Dead Or Alive" series, 5 or 6 DVD's.
