Oh no not again! Any news? Is it related to his foot injury? I hope not Corona virus? Please let us know as soon as you hear anything Zany? It was so nice to see him back here! I was wondering why he wasn't posting!

DrDave had an infection that cause the rise in his temperature and it was his best bet to go to the hospital for proper care. He stayed a little longer than expected but he is back home now as of today! He was getting pain meds regularly and I was not hearing from other than he was still moving and breathing. Some things I could not repeat cause he was drugged. (haha) So hopefully he will be home for a while and can get back to his physical therapy plus back to learning to walk with his new partial leg. For those that have not read this, his leg was taken off just below the knee.

It appears DrDave is back in the hospital. He was put in ICU but is now in PCU. All because of an infection and they are filling him up with lots of antibiotics. He hopes to be home again by Wednesday.
As I hear from him I will let all know how it is going. So please send some prayers and healing vibes his way.

Heard from DrDave today. He is now in a private room and they are treating him for a blood infection. He hopes to back home on Friday. Let's home so!

DrDave didn't get to go home on Friday, it got pushed to Sunday! He is still improving but now they want to do a sleep test on him. He says hi to everyone!

Well u got it right Vicky, seems like DrDave can't catch a break.

He is back in the hospital as of Monday when I last heard from him. He was taken to ER with a temperature of 103.5 either Sunday or Monday which they found an infection in his leg that was cut. Later he sent me a text saying he was told he has COVID. He has not been anywhere for the last year and a half expect to the hospital, a visit to his doctor's office and home. Just proves you can get it! Yes, he got the vaccine, 2 shots! So I am hoping that will give him a better chance. Please keep him in your prayers and positive thoughts!
I am afraid his phone is dead and I don't know if he can get someone to at least bring him his charger or a phone with a charger. So right now we are in the dark but I will up date this as soon as I hear something.

Well I heard from DrDave tonight. He said he is not really doing better but better. So I really think he has Covid and it is working on him. He is pretty stubborn so I know he is fighting to recover. I am just so glad to hear from him again.

The good thing is that if he was vaccinated, he will have a milder case, I hope? At least that's what they say. For most people, fingers crossed for him because I know he is a little older and has extenuating circumstances. I think he is diabetic as well. Sending much love!
