Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Rokkerr put up the Christmas decorations. Very festive.
Having too much sex can cause memory loss. I read that on page 69 in a medical journal on the 4th of May in 2008.

Sometimes something in my computer sends me "Memories." The email talks about living your good times, etc., etc. and includes pictures from somewhere deep in my computer. For me, this showed up. When I die, my executor is going to have one helluva time trying to find my documents,
I can resist everything except temptation.
Is this built in to the O.S., or did you sign up for it? Either way, I can't imagine a time when I would want somebody else's software crawling through my storage. Currently that isn't a problem since my computer does not have permanent storage. I shut down every night, so when I boot in the morning the only things that go onto the fake hard disk are the things that I put there.WalterB wrote: ↑December 6th, 2021, 10:32 am Sometimes something in my computer sends me "Memories." Also, does your computer have it's own email server? If not, then doesn't that mean that the "Memories" software needs to send your stuff off your computer to an external server for you to then get the email? If so, the software could also be sending a copy somewhere else using BCC (Blind Carbon Copy), which you would not see. Unless the email is in HTML, in which case I suppose they could embed the full path to your stuff. That way the stuff itself doesn't leave the machine, just the email. That could still be an information leak, depending on how you name your files and folders. You might get a knock at the door and a demand to see what is in the folder named "Snuff Porn", only for the cops to find that you have a strange tobacco fetish.

Erik, I'm not sure about the program, maybe I clicked something I shouldn't have. But I'm maybe 90% certain that it is locally on my computer. But I don't think it's sending anything out anywhere.
At least it says so. And, you know we can trust everything we read on our computers, right?
