The Official Stupid Shit Pic of the Day Thread
Ya, not much you can get for $25.25 these days.
I remember when I first came to Canada, I used to allocate $ 35 for my weekly expenses - which included grocery shopping.
And going even further back in time, when I was at university, I remember a political ad telling people to put a five pound note aside on the mantle, and see how much it will buy in 6 months if the opposition gets into power. Five pounds was enough to feed a family for a week! (A pint of beer used to cost 20p in those days.)

Sorry, folks. I deleted this post.
It was stupid, lol. It was a comment to lance which revealed how dumb I am. (I can't let THAT cat out of the hat, lol.)

I was resisting posting the alternative version done by Jimmy Fallon because I think I have posted it in other places, but now I have to.

And I am wondering about the legitimacy of the original photo, now that similar things are being posted. Of course, this one could also be real:
Not sure what he's talking about, but Walt's really not dumb at all, folks. Its just an act he puts on to avoid having to take responsibility (~smile).
Same as when I tell my clients to never ask me anything because I know nothing. Silly buggers still keep calling me back.

Thank you lance. Sometimes we learn information we should update. Sometimes we just trip and throw up. I think I did that, lol. So, anyway, I know we're all good. Sure looking forward to my trip in July.

Trip. I hadn't realized you were taking a trip in July. Where are you headed?

East Coast and back. I think I've posted some comments, but maybe nothing serious. Go to my travelog in about an hour or so.

Oh, the east coast. Drive along the I-10 and when you hear a splash you've reached your destination?
Have a good trip and post pictures please - I believe you've made mention of a couple of DSLRs. I just got a (newsed) Sony RX100. I thought I'd see what its like to work with a compact camera for a change. Already I find the zoom range limiting, but I have a Mk3 and the new Mk7's have a much longer zoom. Albeit at the cost of a slower lens.
