Thanks for that Walt - I will read up more on it. I had AstraZeneca for my first two... I don't know what the offer will be when I finally get the call for my booster!

Is that vaccinated or unvaccinated or both? I've heard the same thing, but can't remember who it applied to.

I remembered seeing a clip of the woman who discovered the variant (Dr. Angelique Coatzee, the national chair of the South African Medical Association), but I haven't found which of the political feeds I usually view that contained it.

So, I did a search on Odysee, and found a channel that actually interviewed her. I haven't watched the entire clip, because the title pretty much answers the question: " Omicron variant symptoms 'mild' even for unvaccinated, says doctor who discovered it".

The clip is at:

This might be helpful to some, but I'm not sure.

Excellent news there Walt.

Everything seems to be getting in a terrible mess again over here in the UK.

Not just the UK Stevie. Seems to be getting worse just about everywhere.

Well no, quite - but the frustrations certainly are growing here for sure.

One good thing I suppose though is I do have my booster jab booked - getting it Saturday morning!

I got my booster jab yesterday (it was Pfizer on top of my two AstraZenecas) and while my arm is sore and achy I can't say I've noticed any other side effects at all thankfully. Just woke up a few times in the night when I rolled over onto my side and it hurt!

Good to hear! If you gonna get symptoms it's usually 24 hours to set in?

Thank you Vicky! No side effects at all, thankfully... even my arm is better today now. Thank goodness I've got it all done before the Christmas/New Year period... and my brother has managed to get his done too! So hopefully we will have a good Christmas without that worry looming over us!

It's funny I think people more who have had covid have a bad reaction to the vaccine compared to people who haven't and are unaffected?? At least that's how it seems to me......

I won't say anything about not getting the shots or the booster, as some folks I care about are in that group. But, then facts speak for themselves. People are still dying from Covid and the vast majority are the unvaccinated.

This article is 3 weeks old, but the facts haven't changed.

So, the percentage of bad reviews for scented candles on Amazon claiming something like 'this candle has no scent' has tripled since the beginning of 2020. What an interesting way to follow the spread of COVID-19.
