Couple of Pistachio farms up in Alamogordo, about 70 miles north. Eagle Ranch and PistachioLand. I shop The Eagle Ranch because it was the first one. Back in the '80-s-'90's I used to drive back and forth from Denver to El Paso several times a year. I'd always stop at Eagle Ranch for a couple bags of in-the-shell pistachios. Yes, you can get just the kernels, too, but, for some reason, for me, cracking open the half-popped shell is part of the Pistachio experience,

A bag of kernels is pricier, but without the shells, you get a lot more in a 1 lb. bag, for example. I usually get a bag of the Red Chili and one of Garlic and Green Chili. But I'll usually mix the second one up. I like the Red Chili, but all of their products are great. If you like pistachios why not try out a bag? https://www.heartofthedesert.com/

ANYWAY, the reason for the post is a billboard in Ft Sumner, New Mexico, where Billy the Kid was killed by Pat Garret in the home of Pete Maxwell in 1881. The VNA girls should at least like the sign, if not the nuts, lol.
