Pasta alternatives.

So far I've tried red lentil pasta, green lentil pasta, black bean pasta and chick pea pasta. And that (IMHO) is pretty much the order of acceptability. Red lentil pasta is quite good, green lentil is acceptable. The last two are revolting. IMHO, of course.

This is the juice of life!
I made up a big batch of it last night, it is an entire package of Ginger root, an entire package of turmeric root, a couple of oranges off my tree half a pineapple, a whole lemon, a bunch of apples, and some cayenne pepper. Mix it all up, and it's got some bite to it! Half a glass a day, and It will reduce inflammation in all your bones and joints, as far as I'm concerned it's a miracle cure better than any pills you can take!
I'll have to try and make a variant of this for my g/f who is having knee problems. I don't have a Ninja blender, so apples and pineapples are not an option. Either that or buy a Ninja.

Myth: An apple a day keeps the doctor away

That is what I always believed, and that's why I bought apples again this week!

Over the last half century, apples have been bred for size, shelf-life and sugar content — leaving the nutritional value abysmal, at best.

You know apples have lost 80% of their vitamin C content between 1950 and today.

Sadly, apples are just one of the common foods that can make us feel sick, sluggish, and heavy nowadays…

Whereas the solution to these problems could be on the same shelf, only inches away.

Take the dragon fruit, for example.
Fresh-Dragon-Fruit-Each_b30d290a-de0b-43b7-bc35-4b05c7fd1cf7.a963cf54642d2990d236f34bebc11350.jpeg
This weird-looking fruit gets almost no attention, yet they’re nutrient goldmines — and can help you ease your digestion, support a healthy immune system, and even help you hit your weight goals.

So don’t be afraid to experiment with fruits like dragon fruit, as long as they’re in-season (and dragon fruit is in-season now, by the way)…

But I recommend you take it easy on the apples, since they contain a lot of sugar — and certainly don’t eat them every day.

PS the dragon fruit is so easy to peel.
