Holland are a bit like Belgium rocker - loads of individual talent and flair, but rubbish coach/manager and not a team!
Compare with say Germany - one or two world class players, but wow how well do they play together!

This weekends Premier League results coming up!
Saints v Bournemouth - depends on Gabbiadini - if fit Saints by 2, if not draw
Liverpool v Everton - who cares? - no joking - I wouldn't be surprised if Everton sneaked a win
Burnley v Spurs - draw
Chelski v Palace - Chelski by 3
Hull v West Ham - Hull by 1
Leicester V stoke - draw
Man Utd v WBA - if Mourinho stops moaning Man U by 2
Watford v Sunderland - Watford by 1
Swansea v Middlesboro - Jacks by 2
Arsenal v Man City - draw
But some interesting games this weekend.
Injuries are main feature this weekend with Man U moaning about centre backs, Liverpool without Lallana and probably Saints with out the goal machine that is Gabbaidini (not that I am biased)!
as we sing "Les Reed went to Europe to buy a Lamborghini, when he brought a striker back, his name was Gabbadini!"

Well so far this weekend only two real surprises. Palace winning at Chelski (especially after going behind) is a major shock. Second is how awful Everton were at Anfield - their youngsters looked totally out of their depth - mind you two great solo goals by Mane & Coutinho (who should never have been allowed to cut in on his right foot) were worth watching.

Chant time!
At the Saints v Bournemouth game on Saturday, the Saints fans were singing to the away fans "There's only ONE South Coast derby; only ONE South Coast Derby!"
Which is, of course, a reference to the fact that the really important clash is Saints v Pompey (Portsmouth). That is the real rivalry here on South Coast - apparently goes back over a hundred years to a strike at Portsmouth docks where dock workers from Southampton ended up working in Portsmouth to end the strike.
Almost every game - home and away you will hear Saints fans singing anti-Pompey songs e.g. (to the tune of Que Sera sera) "When I was just a little boy, I asked my mother what should I be. Should I be Pompey should I be Saints? Here's what she said to me! Wash your mouth out son, go get your father's gun and shoot the Pompey scum. And support the Saints!"
Personally, I get a bit bored by it
Now the Cardiff City chants about the Jacks (Swansea) are a different matter!
More another day

Mid week Premier League - Mourinho and the star players will be complaining about doing 2 days work a week!
But the results will be :-
Burnley v Stoke - draw (probably 0-0)
Leicester v Sunderland - draw
Watford v WBA - away win by 1
Man Utd v Everton - Utd by 2 - ? big Ron in trouble (ha ha)
Arsenal v West Ham - gonna say Arsenal cos they have to get better soon
Hull v Boro - draw (probably 0-0)
Saints v Palace - again depends on Gabbiadini - probably draw if he doesn't play
Swansea v Spurs - my tip for surprise - sadly I have a sneaky feeling the Jacks will win - Grrrrr
Chelski v Man City - home win by 2 goals - Man City defence is really awful (Stones biggest waste of money, second only to Pogba)

OK so I got last night wrong. Two things about Man Utd v Everton (actually make that three).
1. Everton should have won - in second half they had breakaways they should have scored from.
2. Mourinho is awful manager - leaving best player (Mikhyrayan) on bench!
3. Pogba is a real waste of money.
Still - at least it looks like Sunderland are down!

Hmm - interesting midweek!
Chelski as predicted. Saints won - and deservedly so. Great that Hull won. Swansea almost did it - but thank goodness Spurs remembered how to play in last 5 mins!
Saints game was another example of poor refereeing in Premier League - step forward Roger East! He turned down two definite penalty appeals for Saints in first half, and allowed a dubious challenge on Zaha for Saints to win ball just before the equaliser. Ironic thing about that is Zaha spends more time falling over to win free kicks than he does playing- but when he should have been given one it was ignored!!
We have a new hero at St Mary's - the Northam end Penalty Spot; both Harry Kane and Harry After have missed penalties from that end and have blamed losing their footing. Last night the turf around it looked to have been replaced and was a darker green - definitely stood out. Shame we didn't get our two penalties to try it out!!

On the subject of English (and Welsh) football chants, rokker is wrong, they are not all brutal! At West Brom on Saturday I was reminded that their fans actually sing "The Lord is My Shepherd" as one of their songs - goodness knows why! But then again they do support West Brom and do go "Boing Boing Boing" to the tune of "The Liquidator"!
Also Bristol Rovers (again no idea why) sing "Goodnight Irene", and Doncaster Rovers apparently belt out 'molly Malone"
In the next couple of days we'll do the "We hate the Jacks" songs from Cardiff City (and I'll try to explain "The Ayatollah"!

No surprise last night Palace beating Arsenal - Wegner must be on borrowed time - Arsenal not going to be in top four. I can't see them winning FA Cup either!

And what about Barca - not the brilliant best side in the world last night! It could have been more than 3 as well. Mind you, don't be surprised if they beat Juve 4-0 at home. It would be great if Higuain and co do knock them out though!

Again Champions League pretty much as expected
Dortmund v Monaco - two sides that can attack but can't defend, but Dortmund always have that "self-destruct" capability!
Bayern v Real - tight game, but Real should be favourites to win the Cup
Athletico v Leicester - great performance by Leicester - very unlucky with penalty (both on breakaway and the fact that foul was outside the box). Good result for them though - they have a (slim) chance

Well - that was a good weekend with predictions!
To be honest, I didn't expect Man City to be so good (Sane was brilliant) and Chelski to be so bad. Mind you I did laugh at the first Man Utd goal - now Chelski know what its like to have an outrageous decision go AGAINST them - the handball by Herrera

To be honest Arsenal were poor - and shouldn't have won - Boro missed great chance when 1-1.
Ramsey made difference in midfield and Oxlade- Chamberlain was good at wingback. Playing back 3 with 5 in midfield seemed to work. Arlene on borrowed time - going in Summer I reckon!
We have them home next month and I'm am confident of 3 points!
Brighton up - great news!
Tomorrow for Bluebirds' anti-Jack songs/chants!
