Hope you're feeling better Uncle Dave!

Vicky, I was a little tired the next day after getting the bivariant booster and the flu shot together. I could feel some pressure when I was trying to sleep on one side or the other the first night, but that was it.

My doctor told me not to get any more boosters. I've had 2 bosters so a total of 4 shots.

I've had the 4 shots as well. Hopefully we are now immune and will get some cool super powers now.

For the record, the bivalent booster a couple weeks ago was my 5th Covid shot.

Is this going to be a yearly shot now like a flu shot?

That will be my guess. Especially if variants keep coming out.

There's talk now if adding the COVID shots to the list of mandatory vaccines that kids need to go to school.

Got the new omicron booster shot last night. I figured since I work in retail and am around so many people every day it wouldn't be a bad idea. So that makes it the 2 original regular vaccines that first came out and now 3 boosters. I get my flu shot on Tuesday so hopefully I'll be good

Yeah, you'll be good, but you'll also be full of holes, .. (Haha, Sorry, Gregg, lol.) I've had 3 shots, am going to get the 4th probably along with my flu shot.

Are the new shots covered by insurance, or still given out for free? Or has that stopped and the pharma companies doing their usual price gouging off this pandemic?

I'm pretty lucky that I haven't contracted the Rona, even though one close relative has gotten it twice; the second time, fortunately, after getting vaxxed. He suffered, but survived. I have gotten the Pfizer double treatment and the booster.

I get my shots through the Veterans Administration (VA.) But, from what I understand, they're still free most places.

Ours were free as well we just went to the drugstore..... CVS..

Mine was free as well from the pharmacy at the grocery store. Got my shot then did my shopping

All mine were free even the latest boosters.

My son just tested positive for the first time this morning. I'll be dropping off a care package on his porch shortly.

My accountant had it not that long ago and he got really really sick. In May or June it was, he got it on a cruise ship. He was extremely sick for the entire cruise, and then he missed about 6 weeks of work once he got home. He had serious long term effects too like brain fog and fatique for 3 months and had to be on all kinds of different drugs to try to beat that. He said he's just now finally starting to feel normal.. He is positive if he hadn''t gotten the vaccine, it would have killed him.

I've said it before, without the initial vaccine, I don't think I'd still be around.

Last week in Michigan we had almost 1700 cases and 156 deaths.

Now we have RSV and Flu season starting.

Above post should have been 1700 a day and almost 12000 for the week.
